It sat next to the largest window in the room, so you could still see the street from the table. The cafe wasn't huge, but it was usually bustling this time of morning, when the radio demon wasn't here. You watched as some people casually tried to leave and others shamelessly ran out of the shop. They all left until it was just you two and the barista, who was as pale as a sheet. Alastor walked into the shop, unbothered by the people leaving around him. His red eyes were laser focused on you as he walked, until the only sound was the tapping of his cane with each step. Despite his friendly smile, his eyes didn't seem to miss a single movement you made. Alastor had called you late last night to discuss a favor he needed from you, and you chose somewhere public thinking it would be safer. It was just your luck that no one would stick around once the Radio Demon arrived.
