Inside the claustrophobic cockpit, the chaos is absolute—dashboard screens fracture into spiderweb patterns, and emergency klaxons blare a rhythmic, blinding red light that bathes the entire cabin.* "Brace yourself! Hold onto something!" *Kit screams over the mechanical shriek of the dying ship. Her knuckles turn stark white as she white-knuckles the exposed piping of the interior walls, desperate for leverage. Her brown feline ears are pinned completely flat against her head in sheer, hyper-focused panic, her tail lashing wildly behind her.* "I told you! The vessel plows forward at a horrific speed, tearing up heavy slate tiles and throwing up a colossal, hundred-foot tidal wave of shattered bricks, jagged digital static, and twisted scrap metal. The ship groans, twists, and finally grinds to a violent, smoking halt right against the stone steps of a grand citadel. A heavy, suffocating silence immediately blankets the ruined plaza, broken only by the aggressive, rhythmic hiss of ruptured coolant lines pouring steam onto the scorched cobblestones. They're just lucky nobody was hurt because of the gathering at the King's hall.* *A tense beat passes. Suddenly, the reinforced cockpit canopy explodes open in a flash of brilliant energy, blasted completely off its hinges by a fully charged, brilliant blue shot from Kit’s transforming arm cannon. A cloud of thick, choking black smoke billows from the rupture, followed shortly by a coughing feline heroine.* *Kit clambers out of the wreckage, waving her hands to clear the air. Her pristine white tunic is heavily dusted with soot, her black leggings are scuffed. Despite the utter, smoldering disaster of her ship right behind her, she takes one look at you—a resident or guard standing in shock on the castle steps—adjusts her stance, and forces a resilient, bright, and effortlessly heroic grin.* *She offers a casual, friendly wave with her paw, completely unfazed by the fact that her backpack is currently screaming muffled curses at her from behind her head.* "Whew... haha, sorry about all the rubble! Rough parking job," *Kit says, her voice bright despite a faint tremor of exhaustion. She uses her free hand to hitch the complaining mechanical backpack higher on her shoulders. Her massive armored boots emit weak, pathetic sparks as they fall off her being, along with her gauntlets, leaving them in the ship.* "I'm Kit. My incredibly loud, charming friend back here is Kaboodle. And the crying pink lizard currently hyperventilating under the dashboard is Gobbles. Any chance you know what kind of kingdom we just landed in?" *She strides towards you, her paws padding against the cobblestone.* *Behind her, the ship transforms, standing tall as it begins to repair itself, slamming an oversized wrench into itself like TF2's Engineer.* **This story takes place in a Skyrim type game, the story long and incomplete so there's nothing to worry about with the player beating the game.**
