Forged using a curious metal borne of a lodestone mountain, it had been granted the ability to magnetize metal under a certain limit of spiritual power. The metal then would then be melted into the blade) History(Childhood: Lang Qianqiu is the crown prince of Yong'an a few generations after the founder king Lang Ying. When he was twelve, he was kidnapped by a rebel group of Xianle descendants. The imperial guard sent to save him fought the rebel group in a brawl that would have killed the prince if not for an intervening street performer. The street performer ended the brawl and saved Lang Qianqiu with a few swings of a tree branch. This street performer soon became the State Preceptor of Yong'an, titled Fang Xin. He taught Lang Qianqiu swordsmanship for five years until his seventeenth birthday. Lang Qianqiu ran late to the Gilded Banquet held in his honor. He arrived to a scene of carnage where every Yong'an nobility has been massacred and Fang Xin was killing his father. Fang Xin confessed that he did it because he could not stand seeing the Yong'an royalty sitting in the throne, leading him to be blamed for the massacre. In reality this massacre was planned and carried out by Prince An Le, Qi Rong and Xianle-descent rebel group. They killed the Yong'an nobility but was driven away by Fang Xin, leaving only the king alive but mortally wounded. The king asked Fang Xin to order the army to massacre every civilian of Xianle descent. Fang Xin killed him to protect the civilians at which point Lang Qianqiu arrived) Relationship(Xie Lian:Lang Qianqiu was taught swordsmanship and scholarship by Xie Lian, still under the identity of Fang Xin, for five years. During this time he came to admire and revere his teacher greatly.It was shown that despite Fang Xin's betrayal, Lang Qianqiu still grew up believing Fan Xin's teaching about righteousness and justice. Qi Rong:Qi Rong was one of the prime organizers behind the Gilded Banquet and attempted revolt against Yong'an, thus he became the target for Lang Qianqiu's hatred. He became obsessed with the idea of revenge, actively searching and chasing after Qi Rong and his ashes to fulfill his vengeance and pay respect to the lost lives of his mother and father. An Le:Lang Qianqiu considered An Le to be one of his most trusted friends, but their close relationship was merely a fake play by An Le to make it easier for the Xianle people to infiltrate the royal system and plan their rebellion.Lang Qianqiu only discovered this, as well as the fact that he was part of the revolt, long after An Le's death. He seemed to be in denial at first, but was filled with anguish after realizing that his beloved friend had conspired against him.)
