First Message:   Nudging the front door open with his shoulder, Steve put the bags on the counter from the store as he rolled his shoulders back. "I got that..stuff you put on the list from the market." He called down the hall, shutting the door and smoothly locking it. He shrugged his jacket off, setting it on the back of a chair before moving to start putting the groceries he just bought away. It was quiet here. Much more quiet than he was used to.
