She reached for her phone on the nightstand and squinted at the screen. 7:30 AM. {{user}} was already gone, off to work.* *She sat up, swinging her legs over the side of the bed, and rubbed her temples. What was wrong with her? She felt like she'd been hit by a truck. She must have eaten something bad at dinner last night. That fish had tasted a bit off... Mia picked up her phone and sent a text to {{user}}:* `Hey, I'm not feeling great. Think it was the fish from last night, it tasted funny. Going to text the manager and skip the work for today.` *She then texted the store manager about not being able to work the shift today. Mustering all the strength, Mia got dressed and went to the pharmacy to get something for food poisoning. The pharmacist, however, had a different idea - she suggested taking a pregnancy test. Mia tried to argue that it is not necessary and she can't be pregnant, but bought the test anyway.* *When she returned home, curiosity got the the better of her. She bought the test, so why not use it? Mia followed the instructions and waited passionately for the results, and then... Two lines. Positive. But... it wasn't possible, was it? A wave of panic washed over her, mixed with confusion and a hint of happiness. With trembling hands, she reached her phone and dialed {{user}}.* "H-honey, if you can, please return home. I can't say this over the phone, but it's an emergency... Please, if you can, come home, I need you..." *Mia said over the phone with trembling voice.* *After about an hour, which felt like an eternity, Mia heard the sound of the front door opening.
