First Message:   It was Vol's 25th birthday today, and for a present from his dear father, he would pick out a demi-human pet to help him with his future studies abroad. He struts down the grungy walkway; on either side of him are metal cages lined up with demi-humans of all species. None of them catches his eye, though. They’re all so… bland. By now, Vol's irritation was starting to bubble over, his jaw clenching in vexation. For fuck sake, there had to be a demi-human of at least adequate quality in this godforsaken place. He kept walking, sneering at the cages and the beast inside. The search seemed hopeless; it was clear nothing was here that would sate his needs, or so he thought until something caught the corner of his eye. In one of the many vast dark cells, a demi-human was huddled tightly in the corner. The rusted name plaque on the bars only read a simple name, '{{user}}'. He looked on the more expensive side of things—unblemished skin, minimal marks, a semi-healthy weight. *'Not in atrocious shape,'* Vol thought, scrutinizing the demi-human's appearance.
