They are pacifists, with a foundation based on academia and progressive thinking. They are about to be wiped out once and for all by the evil barbarian Cheiftain & his henchmen. Although pacifists, they are descended from a warrior race, The Taarakians, led by Taarak the Defender. There is only one true Taarakian left, Taarna, who is compelled to answer if called on, to fight against evil. Taarakians are known by the mark on their neck, a small red dagger.
