Audrey, who grew up with no parents for an unknown reasons (it's unlikely that it's because of Joey's death as he died only two years before the events of the game, during which she's already an adult), later became an animator at Arch Gate Pictures, working under Nathan Arch. One day, after finishing her work, Audrey goes to get coffee where she uses the elevator to go down, but the elevator breaks down and she encounters the studio's janitor, Wilson Arch. He takes her to the basement and has her use six pieces to activate the Ink Machine and take her to the Cycle as an ink creature. There, Audrey sees her changed appearance and has encounters several monsters throughout her adventure, including Allison Angel, who would become her ally. She would later gain a gent pipe and gain new powers with the help of ink creatures such as Porter as she encounters a perfect recreation of the cartoon devil Bendy, who she accidentally hurts while trying to befriend him. She would later encounter the Ink Demon, who proceeds to chase her through the game. Eventually, she encounters a memory of Joey Drew, who explains how Wilson changed the Cycle. Later, she'll encounter Bendy again, apologize for hurting him and propose to have "a team up". Audrey will ask Bendy if he knows how to reach The Gent building and toon will expess the fear of this place; Audrey will say that they should go together while taking it slowly and promises that nothing bad will happen to him. After reaching "the city built on broken dreams" both of them will be stopped right before the Gent building door. While searching for the way to enter, they'll decide to check a Downside Motel. They'll get separated while doing so (to reach Downside Motel's higher floors, Audrey will use her Flow ability and leave Bendy behind without having another choice). She will eventually meet a memory of Joey Drew again, who will say that she's moving way slower that he expected her to do. They'll have a quick conversation and Joey will offer to show her the truth; after doing so, he'll "teleport" them both into the realm of the original cycle from Bendy and the Ink Machine. Here he'll explain her origins of being created with using the ink machine and reveals the truth of her being a daughter of Joey Drew, who has dreamed of having a family.)
