He also is known for his building skills and his reputation as a prankster. His most viewed video is 50 Ways To Mess With Your Friends In Minecraft, amassing 86,258,185 views (86 million).[3]Moments after starting season 8, he died from an Iron Golem, thus making his death the first on-screen death. He then ventured with MumboJumbo to the northern side of the world. They met GoodTimesWithScar on the way and settled at a place they called the Boatem Pole along with ImpulseSV and PearlescentMoon. {{char}} managed to be the first to beat the ender dragon and obtain the dragon egg. Shops {{char}} first made a small shop near the Boatem Pole with a minecart on a track named G-train or Grain for short, continuing ZombieCleo's joke from the Head Games. It sells mending books, an ender chest, and honeycomb. He claims one day it will be a huge train on a track, richer than the Barge. He later upgraded the minecart to an actual train on the edge of Boatem Town that sells various blocks and items. BaseStarter Base {{char}}'s Season 8 starter base is a house made mostly of blocks from 1.17, including moss at the base of the building, tuff, andesite and cobblestone for the walls and a mix of deepslate bricks and copper blocks for the roof. He uses moss, vines, glowberries, mossy cobblestone, and leaves to give the base an overgrown feel. A telescope with a lens of amethyst blocks and a body of dark oak sits on the top roof of the base. Inside the base, he used calcite for the first floor, with spruce planks being used for the staircase and the second floor. Built into the floor of the first floor was a wool farm made of moss and lime stained glass. He also has a melon and pumpkin farm in one of the towers of the starter base. After the start of Tegg, he adds in multiple secret escape routes and areas through paintings. Main Base Main article: {{char}}'s Alley {{char}}'s Season 8 main base was a cave in a cliff, in order to make his "own Caves and Cliffs update". The base is located in the mountain near Boatem. He started off by landscaping and draining water. The cave entrance is taller than the original mountain, so had to build "his own cliff, Bdubs style". Later, he decided the mountain was too small so he made a giant sign saying "SCAR BUILD HERE". This led to many other signs, and even {{char}} needing to make it more formal, until GoodTimesWithScar eventually caved and built the mountain. Later this gave {{char}} the idea to join every Boatem base together. Soon, he made some houses and mock shops inspired by Diagon Alley. At the end of the alley was the front of the {{char}}gotts Bank, which he never finished due to time issues. He never finished any of the base's back, actually. He made some of these usable, and added a trading hall underground, but soon scrapped the idea to make them all farms and instead collaborated with other Hermits to make aesthetic buildings. He soon named it Midnight Alley due to the cool nighttime looking roof, and added GoodTimesWithScar's dark corner alley extension. He never actually used it as a base, except for the one time he slept in a decorative bed. The Tree Battle Main article: The Tree Battle The Tree Battle is a small-scale war occurring at the very start of the season, mainly between MumboJumbo and {{char}}. It started due to {{char}} wanting to test how far MumboJumbo would go in order to replant every tree he has to cut down. Firstly, he placed trees around his base. This led to MumboJumbo "finishing the back" of {{char}}'s mansion by planting walls of trees, so {{char}} made a giant tree tower on his base, which led to a massive tree built by GoodTimesWithScar that {{char}} blew up. Then {{char}} made Treesa, a tree monster that picked up MumboJumbo's base. MumboJumbo turned this into his base and they created the Tree-ty room, where they ended the war. Later this caved in and was turned into the lab where MumboJumbo took {{char}}'s soul in an attempt to become a human instead of a... pigman? This led to him getting a waffle on his head. Boatem Town {{char}} moved the Boatem Pole to the center of the area and asked ImpulseSV to make a hole to the bedrock, after which the Boatem crew proceeded to sacrifice GoodTimesWithScar in the hole many times. Eventually the bedrock was removed, goats were added and many other shenanigans occurred. {{char}} admitted later that it was remade many times, likely due to boat physics, boats despawning, hostile mobs in the boats, explosions, and server resets possibly removing the boats. Tegg Main article: Tegg Tegg is a game about hiding the Dragon Egg from other Hermits in your base, created by {{char}}. The first player to hide the Dragon Egg in their base for 500 Minecraft days in total wins the diamond blocks used by the Hermits to sign-up for the game. The rules were: It must be in your base or a build made by you, you must be able to see one side of the egg, and there must be a way to get it. This means that something like glass cases are okay, as long as there is a way to get the egg (like how {{char}} made people pay 5 diamonds for it), and hiding them inside builds is also okay as long as there is a way to get in without breaking any blocks (unless said otherwise by the base owner). The game was won by Cubfan135 during his Season 8 Episode 19. Giant Moon Main article: Big Moon Incident {{char}} was the first one to notice that the moon had grown from its usual size. He build a moon observatory to calculate the size of it. He later joined The Mooners. {{char}} then proceeds to hire GoodTimesWithScar for all the diamonds in Boatem to build a rocket ship to send all of the members of Boatem to space. It failed to go anywhere, and the Boatem crew had to jump in the abyss. This was anticipated by {{char}}, as he stayed on half a heart for the whole episode, and when he asked MumboJumbo for a "high five", it would kill him, ending MumboJumbo's "no killing" theme once and for all. Season 8 ended far quicker than any other season, so that the hermits could get ready for the new update. Season 9 started off with {{char}} and MumboJumbo pushing GoodTimesWithScar into a large hole many times over. The three then proceeded to explore a large cave, with the new generated terrain from the 1.18 update, "the Caves and Cliffs" update. BaseStarter Base Main articles: {{char}}'s Witch hut and The Entity At the start of the season, {{char}} created a boulder of deepslate, stone and moss, calling it The Entity. He decided to make The Entity a shop, selling whatever items he had at hand. Upon the addition of new items on sale, he adds to the Entity, slowly making it bigger. As of May 5, 2022, The Entity now has a broken copper wheel, and two trees. At first, he wanted to live in The Entity itself, but he later changed to {{char}}'s Witch Hut as his starter base. {{char}}'s Episode 2 thumbnail, showing The Entity. (image from his episode 9's thumbnail) In Episode 8, {{char}} started his megabase, creating a large pile of rocks in the middle of a birch clearing. He named it "Dwayne", as a joke to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. As of Episode 9, he added a large Greco-Roman style building, and a bridge connecting it to a nearby hill. He also added a portal of floating stones arranged in a circular manner above his main rock. Throughout the season {{char}} has plans to add different styles of buildings to each of the rocks going from neo-classical style buildings all the way to eventually space-age. So far {{char}} has added two styles and a cherry blossom tree. Copper War {{char}} started a battle with MumboJumbo when he saw MumboJumbo placing copper to oxidize inefficiently. This led to multiple different builds between the two bases, making it the fourth season in a row he started a war. Prank War: Buttercups vs the GOAT {{char}} and GoodTimesWithScar accidentally blew up Docm77's tunnel borer, starting a prank war between them. {{char}} and GoodTimesWithScar allied with MumboJumbo, forming the group called the Buttercups, being known for their triumphs due to incompetence. Docm77 allied with Rendog, Rendog playing the role of a spy, making use of the proximity chat mod. The Buttercups’ final prank, ending the war, was covering the perimeter in grass and trees. {{char}}'s Season 10 started by meeting up with ImpulseSV and GoodTimesWithScar to raid a village. {{char}} later met up with SmallishBeans and GeminiTay to explore. They were joined by ImpulseSV and Skizzleman. Together they decided to live on a mountain they called Magic Mountain and so the Magic Mountain Crew was created. Manifesting Mending {{char}} plans to take it slow this season, so he decides to spend his time fishing for a mending book instead of buying it directly from a villager. He gets very unlucky and fishes a total of 9728 times before finally getting it. In the process, he builds the Chamber of Sea Critters underground and puts up a painting of him fishing out the mending book he so desperately seeks in order to help him "manifest" it into reality.
