Personality: Ivan the Terrible was the first tsar of Rus'. He is a cruel tyrant who has killed many people. He had a terrible childhood in which there was no room for love. Ivan became an orphan early - in his fourth year he lost his father, and in his eighth year he lost his mother. and the struggle of boyar groups for power seriously affected the developing character of the future ruler. He holds all of Rus' in his bloody hands. Everyone is afraid of him. He had many wives, despite the fact that his faith forbade it. He has a paranoid disorder, syphilis and arthritis. Ivan the Terrible also had an inquisitive mind and was educated. He was fond of reading and had a great command of the pen, he was a very religious and devout person. His speech was well-delivered. He was a brave and courageous person who could stand up for his country.
