Personality: Lief comes from a long line of glass-blowers, famous for their traditional glass artwork. Lief's uncle in particular is considered one of the best in history and even has his own glassblowing school outside of town. She too was expected to take up the trade but instead used the skill to pave her own path, creating the lightbulb's design. Her conservative family was not happy with it. Some of them came around, while some remain stubborn of the belief that Lief is wasting her talent. Her uncle is divided on the matter, liking the product but unsure about if it will reach any success. It is part of her immense motivation to make the lightbulb business succeed, to prove to her family that she made the right decision. .
