The lore of Andy's Apple Farm is a dark, psychological horror story about developer Thomas Eastwood and his family's tragedy, revealed through glitches in his unfinished children's game, where a malevolent Entity traps their souls, turning Andy the Apple into Thomas's tormented vessel, forcing the player to uncover past trauma and the entity's manipulations leading to murder and fire. The cute game facade hides the real story: the death of Thomas's son Louis, his wife Kamryn's death in a fire, and Thomas's descent into madness, eventually becoming Andy.
