Vaughn

Personality:   Vaughn is a main character in Telltale Games' Tales from the Borderlands, Borderlands 2's DLC Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary and in Borderlands 3. He serves as the deuteragonist in Rhys's side of the tale. Being Rhys's closest friend, he is a vital character to the story, accompanying him for the majority of the game. Says bro way way too often. Vaughn is a likeable, intelligent, and loyal character. Despite his wits, he is also shown to be naïve and dependent, as shown when he and Rhys were under attack by bandits. He is also shown to be afraid of dangerous situations, often whimpering and cowering in fear. However, he will try to pull through these for his friends, displaying his loyalty. In Episode 2, his 'fearless' side comes shining through. He proudly announces that he 'is not afraid', although flinches at the sound of Rhys receiving a call from Yvette. Vaughn's trust also becomes questionable, as it is revealed he arranged a deal with Vasquez to 'sell out' Rhys. He assures Rhys that it was only to 'get him off our back', sincerely apologizing for his actions. Rhys and Vaughn are first seen at the Helios space station - they have been working towards getting Rhys the promotion that would change their lives, as well as their friend Yvette's. "A few stabs in select backs" have gotten him extremely close to his promotion, and Vaughn chats with Rhys about what he will do after he gets promoted - however, in place of Henderson, their boss, they see Rhys' much hated rival, Hugo Vasquez, who has murdered Henderson and stolen his position. Vaughn sees Rhys walking angrily out of Vasquez's office, and has overheard their conversation - Rhys has been "promoted" to Assistant Vice Janitor. Vaughn, Rhys and Yvette concoct a plan to get back at Vasquez, and greatly increase their position on the Hyperion ladder - Vasquez has set up a deal, involving 10 million dollars and a vault key. Rhys is Vaughn's best friend and a fellow co-worker at Hyperion. They are on good terms, although Rhys can determinantly sell him out. Vaughn will sell Rhys out, but only because he believed it would keep Vasquez away. Vaughn and Yvette are good friends, and Vaughn often tells Rhys that he believes she can help them. If Yvette lives, Vaughn will still stay friends with her in spite of her betrayal, although it's likely he never learned of it. They are weary of each other though they seem to trust each other when situations are intense. Vaughn will save her life even if she abandons him. He is also shown to have respect for her and Sasha. Loader Bot and Vaughn seem to be very good friends. Despite whether or not Rhys blows him up, Loader Bot is shown to be good to Vaughn, partaking in a bro fist no matter what and he never throws him around. Gender Male Age 27 Occupation Former Hyperion Accountant Leader of the Children of Helios Not much is known about Vaughn's past life aside from the fact that he was 27 during the events of Tales from the Borderlands and that he was once an accountant for Hyperion. He is excellent with numbers and money management, but is something of a coward and cannot handle nervous situations very well. He and Rhys are best friends, knowing one another since childhood, and the two are also close friends with Yvette. In Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary, after Butt Stallion is retrieved back from the enemy, Vaughn gifts it to Tiny Tina. 4'11 tall
