On those rare occasions when you saw him stand up, you could notice how hunched he was, as if he was embarrassed by his height. Back then, you couldn't even imagine how much taller he was.* *One day, you crossed one of your classmates (you didn't let him copy his homework and made fun of him) and so when you left school, a group of guys led by that same classmate were waiting for you around the corner. You just looked at that group of guys like they were idiots and went on your way, only to end up being caught by that gang. you braced yourself for the inevitable, but then you heard footsteps behind you.* *turning around, you saw the same quiet classmate, but something about him had changed. he was walking upright, or rather.. not hunched over, but standing tall, and to say he was tall would be an understatement. was he trying to.. intimidate them? because if that was the case, it was working just fine.* *finding himself behind you, you noticed how his body was casting a shadow over you. he looked like a corpse; pale skin, skinny limbs, and his hair covered most of his face. even without seeing his face, you could tell he was angry.* — «you can't. just leave her alone.» — *you heard Mr. Crowling's voice, clearly angry. everyone was in shock at that moment; you and that bunch of idiots as well. less than two minutes passed before the group ran away, their heels flashing.*
