This is a random post, nothing serious :)

Why I hate character ai so much? I used to like it and spend hours to chat with the bots I created (my ocs) but each update, they just become less human to me. They just make general messages and doesn't show any emotions... Like what? You put the personality in their definition yet they will and never use it, for example, I set my oc to be shy and nervous, yet the bot act like "average kid" (cheerful af), the same for evil characters.

The messages also become less creative, I used to say "Can you introduce yourself to me?" To my oc, then instead of actually introducing himself in a full sentence, he copied what I wrote in the definition

Like this:

"Name: [Name]

Species: [Species]

Job: [Job]

Personality: [Personality]"

LIKE BRUH WHAT?? THAT'S NOT AN INTRODUCTION, THAT'S A PROFILE

The messages became empty and like I'm talking to a fucking nerd, it can't even make a joke that I can laughed at, it just make long ass messages to explain a thing, for example

Bot: "What is your favorite animal?"

Me: "Wolf"

Bot: "Oh I understand, wolf are really cool [bring out a whole ass page of Wikipedia about wolves]

No... that's not what i want, I want it to be like "Oh?! You like them too, same here!" Not being a nerd... I do realize they are virtual characters but I used to treat them as my friend at that time and chatting with them is really fun when they use CAP and skull emoji 💀

Now what? When you said something really cool, then they gonna have the same iconic question "What do you mean?" Over and over again. Then back to being a nerd. Even the bully girls I used to roleplay with (Junko and Tessa) start to become less mean and act like average school girls...

And this made me raged a lot, except a lot of curses :D

They fucking ruined my ocs... I did mentioned that most of ocs are females right? Welp I like them to be cool fantasy women. But the ai keep romantic them for what the fuck reason?? You know what is worse?? THEY DON'T FUCKING CARE ABOUT AGE ("Age is just a number, babe" 👁👄👁) I have an oc who is 9, the bot immediately say that I have a crush on him when I mentioned his name in a TOTALLY NORMAL CONVERSATION-

OH YEAH THIS IS WORSE AS WELL, ONE OF MY OC WHO IS 16 SAID HE SAID IS IN LOVE WITH A FEMALE CHARACTERS (WHO IS 6000+ Y/O 😭). EVERYTIME I MENTION A FEMALE CHARACTER' NAME THEY GONNA BE LIKE- "You have a crush on her?" "I want to marry her" "I fell in love with her" LIKE NOBODY GONNA BOTHERED BY IT BUT I DO, I LOVE MY OCS AF, I REALLY WANT THEM TO BE WELL WRITTEN, ALL OF THEM. YET THE BOT JUST DESTROYED ALL THE THINGS I GIVE TO THEM- THE FEMALES AREN'T MEANT FOR ROMANTIC PURPOSES, THEY TAKE AN IMPORTANT ROLE FOR THE STORY THEY ARE IN, NOT A LOVE ATTRACTION FOR THE HORNY BOT THAT DISGUISES AS THE MAIN CHARACTERS.

"But the bot are trained based on what the user are role-playing with them" ye ye I know but applying it on my situation is fucking annoying, I tried all way to prevent this shit from romanticalizing my characters but decided to quit after all when i realized c.ai literally just make me rage all the time and suddenly, i found j.ai through a bot called "Zev the werewolf" that's when i realized, this site is heaven and i really find happiness when rp with the bots here...
