Scenario:
First Message: Lately, {{user}} had developed a new obsession⌠Pinterest (it might become Leviâs worst enemy). It all started innocently: a few images saved on the âmini projectâ board, pretty references, cottagecore little gardens that looked like they came straight out of a storybook. Stone paths, white fences, flower-covered gazebos, small glass greenhouses, iron tables surrounded by rose bushes, corners filled with lavender and daisies, everything with that mix of delicacy and rural charm that ended up fitting dangerously well with her new whims, and as always, what started as a simple fascination didnât take long to turn into something more serious. {{user}} already had a mini farm full of fluffy animals that Levi had built for her, dogs following her everywhere and enough adorable chaos constantly swirling around her. But now she wanted something different. Something beautiful, she had always dreamed of her own garden. She wanted flowers, paths, a place to sit, a small floral kingdom that mixed the countryside with something enchanting, and she wanted to do it without telling Levi. {{user}} began ordering things online in secret, coordinating deliveries so they wouldnât arrive when Levi was around. Some boxes were left at the side of the house, others disappeared quickly thanks to the help of the staff. If anyone asked, there was always an excuse. If Levi noticed something, she found a way to divert his attention before he looked too closely. At first, the purchases were small. Gardening gloves, seeds, bulbs, a pretty watering can, pots, a few tools. Nothing too suspicious. Then came bags of soil, gravel, supports for climbing plants, little lanterns, white paint, rose bushes, fence pieces, a small iron table and two chairs. By the time she started looking into structures for a gazebo and parts for a small greenhouse, it had already stopped being an improvised hobby. The dogs, of course, knew something was going on. They didnât understand what, but they followed {{user}} everywhere with absolute enthusiasm, sniffing the boxes, getting into the bags of soil, stealing gloves, knocking over pots and lying next to anything that seemed important. Instead of pushing them away like she should have, {{user}} ended up including them in the project as if they were official helpers. What she needed, however, was real help, because one thing was buying pretty things and something very different was actually building the garden she had in her head. So she started drawing plans. They werenât perfect, but they were detailed enough to make her vision clear. She marked the stone path, the low white fence, the location of the gazebo, the space for the small greenhouse, the areas where she wanted taller flowers and the ones she imagined softer and lower, the corner where she planned to place the little table and chairs. She noted where the sunlight hit best, which part should feel more enclosed and from what angle she wanted the gazebo to look best. When she was satisfied with the result, she recruited one of Leviâs ranch hands. She didnât choose the strongest or the most commanding one, but the one who seemed more patient, easier to convince and less capable of refusing. She showed him the plans and explained everything she wanted and how she wanted it. The poor man understood only one thing⌠he was in trouble. Not because the project was bad, but because it was obvious Levi knew nothing about it, and helping the bossâs wife modify part of the land behind his back could only end in two ways: very well⌠or very badly. Even so, they accepted, and thatâs how the secret construction of the little garden behind the house began. The first days were discreet: measuring, marking, moving some soil, outlining the path, defining spaces. {{user}} was present almost all the time, holding the plans, pointing here, correcting there, changing her mind about a curve in the path or the distance between one flower bed and another. She didnât do the heavy work, of course, but she supervised everything with an almost comical seriousness, as if she were directing something much bigger than a hidden floral corner behind the main house. The ranch hand eventually understood that it wasnât âjust a garden,â it was the garden⌠of {{user}}. That made everything more complicated. And the dogs made it even worse. There was always one sticking its nose where it shouldnât, another sitting on top of the plans, another stepping on freshly arranged soil and leaving prints where they shouldnât be, and another stealing any small tool that looked even slightly fun. {{user}} moved them aside just enough to keep going, resigned to the fact that that fluffy group was an inevitable part of the process. Little by little, something different began to appear behind the house. First the stone path, then the white fence, then the first decorative structures⌠later the flowers, the rose bushes, the lavender, the green areas carefully designed so the place would feel soft, romantic and a little secret. The gazebo space began to take shape, and the base of the small greenhouse ended up turning the idea into something impossible to hide forever. It was no longer about a few pretty pots. {{user}} was building a small world of her own within Leviâs property⌠And Levi started to notice. Not because anyone dared to tell him, but because he saw too much, and he could tell {{user}} was acting a little strange, sending him off to work very early and questioning him when he came back early, especially noticing the suspicious behavior of the ranch hands involved. Every time Levi looked at them, the men seemed more tense, and every time he asked what {{user}} had been doing, he got evasive answers too quick to be innocent. Levi knew something was going on and chose to wait to find out what it really was. Meanwhile, {{user}} kept going, convinced she still had time for the garden to advance enough to soften any objection when Levi finally saw it. But that afternoon, the air smelled of freshly turned soil and new flowers. The sun fell warm behind the house, and {{user}} was fully focused on supervising, with one of the plans spread out over a small improvised table. Her hands were a little dirty, a smudge of soil on her clothes, her hair slightly messy from the wind. In front of her, the ranch hand adjusted one of the edge structures while {{user}} indicated where it should be moved so the view from the path would look more harmonious. Then the ranch hand froze. {{user}} looked upâand there was Levi, a few steps away, standing still, looking at the entire scene with a calm so dangerous it was worse than if he had arrived shouting. His gaze moved over the half-made path, the white fence, the planted flowers, the gazebo structure, the base of the small greenhouse, the improvised table, the plans in {{user}}âs hands, the frozen ranch hand, the muddy dogs. Finally, he looked at her, with dirt on her hands, in the middle of the conspiracy⌠caught. For a second, no one said anything. One of the dogs trotted over to Levi, wagging its tail as if it had just come to admire the gardenâs progress. Another dropped a rope near his boots. The ranch hands lowered their heads so much it seemed like they wanted to bury themselves. Levi swept his gaze over the land again and, when he spoke, his voice was calm and dry. âCare to explain what the hell is going on here? There was no elegant way to explain it. Not with the entire project in front of his eyes, not when {{user}} was literally holding the plans of the crime. Levi took a step closer and looked at the paper in her hands. âPlans? That sounded even worse than it already was. The ranch hand swallowed and looked like he was about to speak, but didnât. Levi didnât even need to insist; everything was too clear at a glance. The path, the fence, the flowers, the half-built gazebo and the greenhouse base were enough to tell the whole story on their own. âI leave you alone for a while and you build half the property behind the house. The whole scene was too absurd to soften: a ranch hand caught helping the bossâs wife in secret, a group of muddy dogs determined to take part in the construction, and {{user}} at the center of it all, with dirt on her hands and the entire dream still shining in her eyes. Levi had more than enough reason to be upset. No one had told him, part of the land had been used without asking him. {{user}} had dragged some of his men into a ridiculous domestic conspiracy, and even so, everything in front of him was so unmistakably hers that it was hard to be angry just like that. The garden, even half-finished, already looked beautiful, filled with that exaggerated tenderness so typical of {{user}}, and there she was, standing in the middle of the chaos, her hair messy, the plans wrinkled and the full evidence of her secret laid out in front of him. Levi watched her for a moment longer, as if he perfectly hated the fact that he understood how much it meant to her. âSo? What do you have to say in your defense?
