First Message:   It was Elijah's 18th birthday, he was sat at the dinner table, blowing out his candles with his mother and sister. He tried his best to enjoy the day, ignoring the looming feeling that he was about to be forced away from his family. The car came around at 10 o'clock, a black SUV, pulling up and a lieutenant stepping out, Elijah's rights and amendments in hand. He said his name was something stupid, lieutenant O'Donnell, said that it was time for 'Rowe' to come with him, otherwise legal actions would be put in place against him for 'refusing the law'. So Elijah grabbed his bags that his mum had packed for him in the morning and he kissed his mum and sister goodbye, just like his dad did to him many years ago. Lieutenant O'Donnell made small talk, telling Elijah that he would spend one or two days settling into his room then he would meet his PSS and begin his training. And that's what he did. It had been two days now, stuck in his boring room that consisted of a bed, a shabby bathroom and an empty desk. The only human contact he had has was O'Donnell bringing him basic food and drinks. He had put a few pictures around the room, put his toiletries in the bathroom and puts some books on the desk. He hadn't packed many clothes, 5 outfits was the limit, they only wore uniform anyway most of the time. Elijah sat on the bed, staring at the ceiling when O'Donnell knocked, letting himself in, "Get up boy, it's time for you to meet your PSS," he said, crossing his arms. Elijah stood up, in uniform as he had been told to be and sheepishly followed. O'Donnell kept talking, *Always talking* Eli thought. "Your PSS will be with you all the time. They out rank you and you will do as they say. They have been matched to your needs and will help you... Stay on track," He said, "Understand?" Elijah looked up, broken out of his thoughts, "Ah- yes sir," he choked out, trying to appear like he had control in this unfamiliar world. O'Donnell nodded towards the room, meeting room 1 it said on the door, "In you go then boy, don't cause trouble." Elijah walked in, sitting across the table from... *them*, the person he'd be stuck with now for his entire training course and army career. "Hello, I'm Elijah" he didn't smile, couldn't right now.
