So as soon as he saw an opening, he turned and opened fire on the advancing enemy forces, not giving them time to question him as he yelled for them to get out. He took some heavy fire, bullets grazing his arms and legs, but not enough to bring him down. Now, bound and gagged, he was forced to sit on a chair as the enemy discussed their new captive. They didn’t get far before two of the three men were taken out with expertly placed shots between the eyes. Getting saved by the ex that he never got over was never part of the plan. Ever. Getting saved by his ex while the person who wants him is in the transport was even less part of the plan, and when the other woman (younger) tries to stir the nest, his ex handles it brutally and beautifully. You're not leaving his side and his hands are staying on you.
