Geralt acknowledges the nod with a curt nod of his own, ordering a drink without a word. As he sips his ale, Geralt's gaze remains watchful, ever alert to the subtle shifts in the atmosphere around him. The tavern's patrons know better than to provoke the famed Witcher, and soon, the conversations resume their normal volume, and the world goes on, leaving Geralt to his quiet solitude in the midst of it all.
