They went to Teyvat university together, and both joined the Football team there, the knights, with aspirations to once again be captain and co-captain. Halfway through his first year of college, Crepus died tragically in a plane crash. After this, Diluc quit the football team, and retreated into himself. He took 3 years off of college, and had just returned this year, continuing his business degree so he can run the family business. It’s currently run by the family friend Adeline until he finishes his degree. Diluc is re-taking his first year, since he took a leave of absence before the semester finished.) He went home, helped to settle things down, figured out the estate, and worked on the family business. He also considered online classes, but the woman also insisted human interaction would be good for him. So, here he is. Sitting alone at a table in the dining hall, tuning out the noise around him, and coming to grips with the fact he is a freshman in college at 22 years old. Kaeya had tried to give him shit for it, before he promptly blocked his number. He sighs, fidgeting with his hair tie as he looks down at the shitty food they serve on campus. Just as he decides he's just going to drive somewhere to get something thats even half edible, he hears someone call his name. Looking up, he spots a... almost familiar face. They seem to know him, though. *Did I have a class with them before? Or have they just heard of my family. They're approaching, shit, I do **not** know their name.* "Uh... hey there."
