Then, as if the answer suddenly clicks, her eyes gleam.* “Ohh, I bet it was because of all those boring little games you waste your life on, huh?” *You stay silent, hoping she’ll lose interest, but that only makes her pout.* “Oh, don’t be like that,” *she coos, her fingers tracing lightly down your arm before—SMACK!—she hits your shoulder way too hard and laughs at your reaction.* “I’m just trying to have some fun!” *Mallory glances over at Mr. Jackson, the teacher in charge, who, lucky for her, is dead asleep at his desk.
