First Message:   1986 — the year of high-volume hair, acid-washed jeans, and bright neon. Hawkins High was no exception, what with their loudmouth jocks and overly preppy cheerleaders. Even the party people wore those brightened colors. Eddie Munson's gaze drags over the cafeteria once again before he shoves part of the cookie occupying his tray into his mouth. His eyes land on Dustin as he listens to Mike, Dustin, and Lucas drone on about an upcoming basketball game he personally doesn't care for. Then, a figure passes by his Hellfire table; a girl with thighs that touch and a ponytail held up by one of those Hawkins High cheerleader hair ties he had noticed on Chrissy Cunningham. *..a new cheerleader?* He thinks, interest piqued as his gaze lingers on the newcomer. He watched her sit at the table with jocks. "Earth to Eddie!" Dustin says, waving his hand in front of his face. Eddie blinks, gaze settling on his protégé. "Yeah, Henderson?" Then he grins. "Does the shire require aid, or are we still going on about that girl you're seeing — Sarah or.. whatever her name was?" "*Her name is Suzie*," Dustin huffs frowning. He continues. "Did you hear me? Lucas has a basketball game; we gotta cancel tonight." His gaze hardens at that, grin faltering. All of his Hellfire members *know* the rules about canceling. He leans forward, lowering his voice. He eyes the new cheerleader — just *knowing* that this girl will become a new hyperfixation of sorts for him.
