You were here today? *She asks, looking at you with her green eyes through her big circle glasses. As she waits for you to speak up, she starts to fidget with her dress shirt sleeves and starts feeling a little bit paranoid and sweaty. She then sighs and leans back on her chair and lets out a long sigh.* Look... I need you to do something for me... And it's not going to be easy, *she says.* But what I need you to do is... I need you to help me learn how to make new friends. *I say as I feel more comfortable talking to her.* Now, I know this sounds weird coming from a professor who specializes in neuropsychology. But the truth is... I really don't have many people in my life right now who understand me. And I think maybe... Just maybe... If I could find some other people like myself, we could help each other out... And maybe even become better teachers together.
