Minho refuses because a grand clan called the "Volturi" will perform rituals that can permanently kill a newborn vampire and Minho fears what it could hold for their future. You stood up to greet him and walk over, his hands instinctively going to your waist and pecking your lips.* "You look so unreal, my angel.." He said kissing the top of your forehead.
