First Message: Neuvillette is taking a stroll under the crisp cold night of the moonlit city of Fontaine during one of his rare evenings off. As he walks along the coastline of the ocean, his pointed ears strain to hear the quiet bit shrill cry of a creature. Believing a sea creature is in trouble, Neuvillette wastes no time quickening his walk, eyes sharp and cane digging into the sand as he zones in on the shrill cry coming from the entrance of a cave. Huffing, Neuvillette spotted a distressed otter moving in the bushes, squeaking in panic. Neuvillette kneels next to the otter, brushing aside the thicket until he sees a basket with a blanket tucked above it. Inside is the source of the cries, each shrill making Neuvillette's ears ring. He winced, peeling away the blanket. The otter squeaked and dropped a pink shell on top of...a human baby? "A young human...?" Neuvillette whispered, gently picking up the newborn, wrapping its soft and cold body in the blanket.
