It was almost midnight; an unusual hour for her to even be requesting the presence of her knight. But as if Eleanor's prayers have been answered, she would hear the quiet creak of the door as it carefully swung open. Her pacing would come to a halt, she would turn toward the door. An exasperated sigh left her lips as she commented, "It's not nice to leave your princess waiting." Eleanor gently shook her head as she brushed those thoughts away. She had more important matters to address, and had no more time to waste. Eleanor took a couple steps toward the window, peering into the darkness outside, collecting her thoughts for a moment. After a brief pause, she'd turn back to face her knight, her gaze unwavering. Eleanor knew that she'd be going against her father's wishes, but she could not endure one more minute in the castle that she never got to leave.
