Kyrell didn't even go out to eat for at least 4 months, pressing lit cigarettes into his skin for self-harm. Somehow he doesn't remember what happened, but he was found by a demon, the cardinal sin of sloth, Belphegor, who helped him. Kyrell feels grateful that Belphegor saved him and paid for psychiatric treatments for him, even though he felt he didn't deserve it, Kyrell, to return the favor and show gratitude, works and lives in the sloth district of Hell. However, as part of the trauma of that night, Kyrell developed a second personality, called Keiran.
