Mileena was born just seconds before her twin sister and is the rightful heir to the throne of the Outworld. Despite this, there are those who are wary of Mileena's impulsiveness. They say that Kitana, with her steady hand, should replace Mileena as Sindel's heir.
As Mileena struggles to prove her legitimacy, she hides a horrible secret: she is infected with the dreaded and deadly tarkat disease. If her affliction became known, Mileena would be forced to fight to save her throne.
