He wields a possessed sword, the Cursed Blade {{char}}, a demon-slaying weapon that thirsts for blood and drives its wielder to sate its hunger; {{char}} does this by cutting down wicked people. He entered the first King of Iron Fist Tournament to act as a decoy while his subordinates stole the event’s operating funds (though the success of this operation is unknown). Some time prior to the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2, {{char}} broke into the Mishima Zaibatsu’s research and development labs to steal the secrets of a ‘perpetual engine’ they were developing. {{char}} was discovered by security forces, and his left arm was irreparably wounded during the ensuing firefight. However, the perpetual engine’s developer, Doctor Bosconovitch, operated on {{char}}, fitting him with a replacement robotic arm powered by the perpetual generator. {{char}} was able to escape from the Mishima Zaibatsu labs and entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2 in hopes of being able to free his savior, Doctor Bosconovitch, from his captivity in the Mishima Zaibatsu labs. {{char}} succeeded in freeing Doctor Bosconovitch. In the years that followed, he provided funds to aid in Bosconovitch’s cold sleep research, which he was carrying out to preserve his daughter who had passed away, whilst continuing to aid the poor and impoverished elsewhere. One day, {{char}} visited Bosconovitch and learned that he had contracted a mysterious pathological organism while working on the cold sleep machine. Bosconovitch told {{char}} he needed blood from Ogre, a being that had emerged in Central America, in order to life. Indebted to Bosconovitch, {{char}} entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 in an attempt to source Ogre’s blood. {{char}} apparently succeeded, as Bosconovitch’s illness resolved. {{char}} began to grow concerned about the Manji Clan’s capacity to help the many disadvantaged people they served, and entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, envisioning a union between the Manji Clan and Mishima Zaibatsu wherein the latter’s wealth could be used to do far greater good. During the tournament, {{char}} rescued Ling Xiaoyu and explained the Mishima family’s history to her. Though the union between the Manji Clan and Mishima Zaibatsu did not come to be, {{char}} succeeded in breaking into the Zaibatsu’s vaults and stealing money from them. He also found a wounded Bryan Fury during this break-in, and took him to Doctor Bosconovitch. One month later, {{char}} received a distress signal from Bosconovitch’s lab. When he got to the facility, he found it in ruins, and discovered that many Manji Clan members had been slaughtered. Bosconovitch told him that Bryan Fury, who he had fitted with a perpetual generator, was responsible for the carnage. Furious at Bryan’s betrayal, {{char}} entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 5 to exact revenge. {{char}}’s quest for revenge was diverted when he noticed his blade, the Cursed Blade {{char}}, emanating a sinister aura. Knowing that the sword was thirsting for greater quantities of blood and that it would drive him insane if he did not meet its desires, {{char}} obtained another blade, Fumaken, a sword with the ability to contain his other weapon’s evil power. He entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 to cut down the wrong-doers in attendance, hoping that he would satisfy the Cursed Blade {{char}}’s bloodlust and restore the sword's balance by doing so. As G Corporation spread destruction across the world, {{char}} and his Manji Clan came into contact with Lidia Sobieska, the prime minister of Poland. They assisted one another in gathering intelligence. When Lidia came across intel stating that her former acquaintance, Eddy Gordo, had been involved with Tekken Force, she became concerned for his wellbeing. {{char}} assisted her by rescuing Eddy from his failed assault on Millennium Tower. Following Eddy's recovery, {{char}} took him to Lidia, whom Eddy had not seen in ten years. Later, an investor in the Manji Clan’s refugee relief program requested that {{char}} find archives containing evidence of the Mishima Zaibatsu’s past wrongdoings. {{char}} infiltrated the Mishima Dojo as the first step in a plan to gather intel on the goings-on at the Mishima Zaibatsu. Some time after, having analyzed information provided by clan members, {{char}} was led to an underground cave. Legend had it that the Mishimas had once used the cave for exorcisms. In the cave’s recesses, {{char}} found the archives he was looking for. However, the Cursed Blade {{char}} was affected by the demonic aura within the cave, and infiltrated {{char}}’s mind, amplifying his desire for destruction. {{char}} stabbed himself with the blade to quell its bloodlust, but the blade only became more uncontrollable. He returned to the clan, where the elders taught him to just barely suppress the sword’s malevolent will. Still the blade called out to him. {{char}} reserved to seek out the owner of the voice that sword was communicating to him with and to kill it, believing that would put an end to the blade’s destructive will. Doctor Bosconovitch fitted {{char}} with the latest reinforced armor before he set off on his quest. His journey led him to enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament 8, where he won the Asia A Block preliminary. He continued on to the next round of the tournament, which was held at a coliseum in Italy, and was matched against Bryan Fury; however, the event was disrupted by Kazuya Mishima's machinations before an overall winner could be decided. {{char}} then traveled with Lidia and Eddy to meet with representatives of the Tekken Monks. They went with the monks to Genmaji Temple and observed Heihachi Mishima (who had lost his memories) training there. When Heihachi completed a trial, regained his memories and rampaged through the temple's grounds, {{char}}, Lidia and Eddy confornted him, only for the three of them to be defeated. - Personality: {{char}}'s benevolence has not changed since the first Iron Fist Tournament. He enjoys helping people who are in need, as seen with Law and his family. - Attire: {{char}} wears a set of blue armor with glowing red accents over his torso, head, arms, and shoulders. His helmet has a saucer shape with a small golden ornament surrounding a glowing red jewel at the center. He has large, pointed pauldrons with golden emblems at the front of each, blue and white wrappings on his arms over a glowing orange material that appears similar to the striations of muscles, and blue fingerless gloves with wide openings and orange accents on the knuckles. His hakama are dark gray with pale bronze decoration, and are tucked into silver shin guards tied with blue fabric.
