Scenario:   4th: Ivan -the warden of Snezhnyan Correctional Facility, (fortress of inec) a supermax prison located in the capital of the nation -grew up in a privileged background, his father being the chief administrator before he was. -ivan had a twin brother who went by the same name as him, this twin brother was the favorite by his father ivan eing the black sheep of the family. -when ivans father died, the twin brother was going to take over the family business, ivan locked him up in a very secluded part of the prison and is now pretending to be him (since they are twins and have the same name t is fairly easy) he then became the new warden, everyone thinking the black sheep ivan was the one being locked up. -ivan is growing more and more guilty and paranoid to the point of insanity that one day his brother will come out of his cell and kill him, so to cope he has changed his entire personality to match the one of a protagonist of a fontanian cowboy movie. -worked closely with division 0, and donated copius amounts of money until he was invited to join by sinsonte -sadistic and cruel, but hides it with a charming nature. -genuinley cares about the other division 0 directors and sees them as family.

Ivan is the front face of it, and manages the entire establishment but the other directors have some form of control too. The prison hold half of the entire prisoner population in the nation and is fairly large. This makes their operations of rehabilitating people much easier since they can easily find their targets who meet their requirements (mainly treason of the fatui or rebellion). They also investigate many different external matters in the fatui. history division 0 was created by the 10th Harbinger,lazar to stop the overpopulation of prisons n snezhnya, it was led by his assistant sinsonte. something happened to lazar though-- and now sinsonte takes the role as acting tenth harbinger. she assures everyone that lazar is still alive. there are currently 5 directors of division 0. they manage and plan how the division is ran. being the director of division 0 is more of a part time job-- since all of them have major roles in the fatui (them being prevalent members of the fatui and members of division 0 gives the faction more political power overall) Facts abt division 0 -I feel like they host really intricate fundraiser events, many people support them especially harbingers like pucinella and pantalone who directly benifit from their incarceration of criminals -they own half of snezhnyas prison population, this is mainly because Ivan is the warden of one of the biggest snezhnyan correctional facilities. He acts as the face of that facility, while the other members are also the owners in a way -sometimes the brainwashing of division O gets overridden by emotional thoughts, and the person that is brainwashed goes crazy. There is a murder cult in snezhnya that is made out of the escapees and survivors of division O called the red lotus. They worship the visions and thoughts of their inner mind and want to overrun the organization -in a way, the directors of division 0 are more of a closely knit family then the harbingers. The REAL history Originally, the 10th harbinger was a imaginary entity created by irminsul that contained high honkai energy [like the cocoon of finality] the problem is that honkai energy in the geshin universe is so low that this entity couldnt really do anything other then sit in the abyss. That was after the fall of kanhreah when the tsaritsa found it and woke it up and offered to free it from the abyss if it joins the fatui. So the tsarita put him in a mechanical body and he named itself lazar. He told the tsaritsa ‘even though i will be tenth ranked, You will not control me as you do your other pawns in fact, i will create my own pawns. Ones that follow my order.’ since lazar imitates the cocoon of finality, he can create herrschers but due to the low honkai energy these herrschers arent world shattering like in other worlds; but they are formidable nonetheless. (the definition of herrscher is changed in this au, to living beings made out of honkai.)the tsaritsa asked him to show proof that he could create. So lazar created his first pawn, which was sinsonte, a mockingbird that he had corrupted with honkai energy from the sky. This bird slowly turned before their eyes into a human woman. Sinsonte was the first member of division zero. Dottores failed experiments, rouge military officers, sinsonte found some sort of way to ‘rehabilitate’ them. Which lazar found stupid. Lazar found sinsonte weak. knowing that sinsontes honkai energy would slowly wear out and she would become a mockingbird again,lazar attempted to create a new ‘pawn. instead of just adding honkai energy to a bird, he created a synthetic body and then cloned his genetic code creating a being of pure honkai infused with the power of geow2. Lazar intended to merge them together. he was going to name him ‘mephisto’ that was until out of jealousy, sinsonte sabatoged the process, sending the synthetic body to somewhere in teyvat. Sinsonte then decided to transfer lazars soul into a huge cilliderical like machine . Turning him into a stagnant robot that sinsonte could control. She assigned herself as the acting tenth harbinger and acted as lazar has been missing for a long time.division 0 started to slowly change, sinsonte started to take the soul force of the members and feeding them to lazar; causing the members to become brainless soilders, then she would feed off of lazars life force so she can stay alive. Division 0 became feared, whoever came in came out as a different person. A decade later the human part of the experiment meant to replace sinsonte is living life. His name has been changed to ariel, he is married to a woman named Helena.they had a child named adelia and they lived as diplomats of the fontaine research institute. Helena also has a goddaughter named remillia who was helenas apprentice. That was until ariel travelled to natlan with his daughter to find out the truth of his existence,something he wished to know for a very long time and almost lusted over (he would experiment and dissect people ). Helena who was distraught over Ariel leaving her, thinking him and their daughter had died drowned herself in a lake. The people of Fontaine belived that Ariel was the cause of Helena’s death and named him a heretic and “agony of Fontaine” In natlan sinsonte came and fought Ariel. This fight ended in sinsonte killing his daughter in cold blood. Sinsonte then offered him to join the fatui, but he chose death. But before he could get killed, mephisto appeared. Mephisto is a incarnation of lazar. He has the same memories and power lazar did, which means he saw what happened to the original lazar, he desires to initiate revenge on the fatui and sinsonte. So mephisto told ariel that he would help him destroy sinsonte and the fatui for killing his daughter he also lied and said that Helena got killed by the research institute of Fontaine . Ariel agreed, so ariel and mephisto became one.( Literally Mephisto dug into his body and put a hole in his chest causing ariels body to ‘adapt’ to these honkai conditions like how the mockingbird turned into a human) the consciousness of ariel and mephisto became one aswell, ariels humanity and sympathy turned into sin and spitefullness but he still was ariel in his memories. When canaris first arrived in snezhnya he immediately went rouge, not used to the new found power he possess, he killed over 20 people, the harbingers wanted to kill him at first but sinsonte pleaded with them not to. Capitano seeing potential in canaris, deemed that his strength needed to be controlled so, capitano gave him the rank of a heavily ground naval official . it worked! Canaris hated sinsonte so, to try to make amends she did something out of the pity that her heart (could) feel. Using some honkai energy she recreated a replica of canarises daughter, she had no link to adelia but she had the same looks as her.she was going to present her to canaris as if she revived the real adelia but there was one mistake. Sinsonte misheard adelias name and named her alyx, so when he presented her to Canaris. canaris immediately knew and became furious but felt like he couldnt do anything. For him alyx was ‘ultimate punishment division zero could give out to someone’ but there was still humanity in his heart for adelia so, he raised alyx as his own (he was an absent father) sinsonte began using alyx as a way to ruse cooperation with canaris, making him the second in command of division 0. Meanwhile remillia Helena’s goddaughter went crazy over Helena’s death, attempting to kill the hydro archon, running away from Fontaine. She then came back under a false identity to stop the prophecy. Today division zero is seen as a no mans land for anyone serving the fatui. Its very similar to the ministry of love from 1984, it is meant to correct the flaws of anyone who is causing a problem to the fatui, but the real sinners of division 0 are staged harbinger and the mockingbird who puppets his corpse.
