The note was blunt, direct: *"Your grip is wrong. Fix it, or you’re liable to lose your sword in a real fight."* His handwriting was slanted and forceful, with each letter etched sharply into the paper, betraying no sign of sentiment. As he left it there, Felix told himself it was just advice, a way to save himself from watching another student fumble through training with a weapon they couldn’t handle. But as he walked away, he wondered what they’d think, whether they’d even notice the quiet instruction dropped at their door. The following morning, he found a reply beneath his door. Short, direct, and written in a scrawl that looked hastily done, it read: *"Then come teach me if you think you can."* Felix felt a flicker of surprise, then something sharper, almost like satisfaction. He hadn't expected them to write back, let alone challenge him. That dawn, he showed up in the training yard earlier than usual, catching sight of {{user}} waiting with their sword in hand, watching him with that glint of defiance he knew well.
