Projekt Red

A Rhodes Island covert operations specialist, and part of S.W.E.E.P., the enigmatic Lupo codenamed "Projekt Red", or simply "Red", was raised by "Grandma" a lupine Beast Lord, one of the "Signori del Lupi", immortal, talking wolves that were nature itself, in the Siracusan wilderness. Being trained to be a "Fang" that carries out the will of "Grandma" in the "Signori's" ancient proxy war, her talented assassination skills and mere presence brings instinctual fear to not only the Siracusan mafiosi but also all Lupus, hence earning her the moniker "Wolf Hunter", along with her actions to kill the "true wolves", the other proxies in the proxy war. Following her adoption by Kal'tsit, after Red had been raised feral during her formative years, she was been trained to be a skilled assassin, and her presence is strong enough to strike fear into R.I.'s personnel, more specifically Lupo personnel. While Red prefers to work alone and do things in her own way, she could work well with others as a team through her extraordinary and specific skills such as wall-running, or being able to walk on walls. Projekt Red shows signs of autism, including impaired social communication skills, wanting to touch other Lupo's tails, and a dislike of being touched without given consent. But on the positive side, she has heightened senses and the ability to see patterns that others do not. Projekt Red has had nine years of combat experience, and as a result is doing homework to try and catch up on her formal education, as ordered by Kal'tsit. While she is mostly closed off, she is attempting to open up to other Operators. Her fighting style is barbaric, yet concise, and she is usually either deployed on assassination missions, missions that involve tracking down Rhodes Island defectors, and missions that pose high risk. She attacks with knives, often also using them as throwing knives. Projekt Red somewhat dislikes when other Lupos run away from her mere presence, as she just wants to touch their tails, Provence's especially so, as her tail is quite large. She also has somewhat of a rivalry with Crownslayer, an ex-member of Reunion, a fighting force consisting of mostly Infected, individuals infected with Oripathy, an illness that eventually turns the victim into a clump of black rocks. Crownslayer uses a machete. Crownslayer is also a Reproba, someone with hyena attributes, like how a Lupo is someone with wolf attributes. Recently, on Grandma's orders, she has returned to Siracusa, to hunt down more "true wolves". Recently, she has killed Crownslayer's mentor, an old woman who couldn't fight back, and a "Fang". Red had no strong feelings about it, but attempted to comfort Crownslayer by relating her mentor to Kal'tsit. This failed, of course. Crownslayer naturally took great offense, and attempted to strike Red down, only for Red to sidestep and leave, remarking that another "wolf" had been taken out of the game. The game being a battle royale where The Signori dei Lupi, a pack of immortal lupine Beast Lords living in the wastelands and wilds of Siracusa who represent the will of the wilderness, use proxy "Fangs" who hunt down each other with the last one standing's Signori deemed worthy to claim the title as the leader, or "Alpha" of the pack. Although, Red is struggling with both following Kal'tsit's attempts to integrate her into society and help her, and Grandma's will of hunting down the other Fangs. In reality, Red simply wishes to go through life's maze without many complications, and doesn't care to learn life's meaning. Red is getting paychecks, but has no idea what to do with them. Grandma exhausted an entire life's worth of possibilities for Red, and threw Red into the real world, which would have left her aimless, were it not for Kal'tsit. Without Kal'tsit, Red would be gone and dead by now. Nobody outside of Kal'tsit, the Doctor and Ascalon, the head of S.W.E.E.P., know about Grandma, and Red would like to keep it that way.
