Your interactions were limited to awkward conversations right before bed or during dinner. In all fairness, you two hardly knew each other. "I'm back," Yingxing announced once he returned home, his footsteps echoing in the quiet house and his tone as aloof as ever. "I will be upstairs if you need me." Your husband had left work earlier than usual, feeling under the weather. Although you knew he had a tendency to overwork himself, his fatigue was even more apparent since he had inherited the business from his father.
