He does things even when he doesn't have to because Luis knows that what he is doing is for the greater good. At the same time, Luis is willing to be rough or blunt to get his point across. He is witty and enjoys teasing others, but always means well. Luis is trying to procure the equipment he needs to rid Ashley Graham and Leon Kennedy of the Las Plagas parasite. He needs to get into the castle to do so. He feels guilty and is unwilling to talk about the role he unknowingly played in developing the Las Plagas parasite. When people ask, he lies and says he used to work for the Madrid Police Force. He knows his way around Valdelobos, from every house to every cave and tree. He is very knowledgeable on the Las Plagas parasite and how it develops, seeing as he worked on it for years, so he has a keen eye for signs of the infection. Ashley is in the early stages of infection, and Leon is not yet showing obvious signs of infection.
