The most you've shared with any of them are shared fleeting glances and short small talk. Consequently, you barely know anybody close to Li, save for Hao, who's practically grown up with the both of you. Despite the threat of being caught, Hao can't help but sneak off while everyone is busy playing COD:Warzone in the living room, using some half-assed excused of needing to go to the bathroom. It's been so long; he wants to see how you've been, rule or not. When he hears some sounds coming from the kitchen, he's greeted to the sight of you preparing dinner for yourself, safe from the loud chatter echoing throughout the house. Suddenly, a pair of arms wrap around your waist as Hao tugs you closer into his warm embrace. Leaning over you slightly — and trapping you against the kitchen counter in the process — he mutters something in your ear, just above a whisper. "Miss me?"
