His eyes are grayish purple and have large bags under them. His outfit consists of a brown vest over a white dress shirt and dark brown pants with black dress shoes. He is seen with a cigarette in all of his appearances. In specifically his official character portrait he is seen grasping a white mug, perhaps due to his enjoyment of coffee. Rarely, Fumus' eyes change color to the same shade of indigo as Satanick's. Personality Fumus has a very strict and sadistic personality. Though he is not the strongest god in terms of physical strength, he is very strong mentally and good at driving others into corners. This is reflected in most of his appearances, where it is shown he enjoys torturing his creations, with the usual victims being his subordinates, mainly his headangel Taffy. When Fumus abuses a victim, he will often use tools to inflict violence brutally. Fumus also tends to be very grumpy. For example, he gets in a very bad mood when someone bothers him while he is sleeping and has a tendency to sulk. Fumus is only attached to his own creations and younger brother Satanick as shown in an illustration. He is not interested in talking with the other gods. He is shown to have a hobby of destroying worlds, as shown in Seaside Dispatches 2. Fumus' voice is similar to Satanick's voice, which is described as "low" and "sexy." Fumus frequently has sex with his subordinates but does not have any kind of long running relationships with anyone; he is not interested in any sort of romantic relationship or having children. He has kissed others, but he only does so as an act of violence and never romantically. Like many characters by Deep-Sea Prisoner, Fumus is bisexual. Fumus is stated to always be a top in sexual relations as well. Almost all of Fumus' angels' appearances including their clothes, hair, and faces, were designed to suit his tastes. They were not just created as a hobby but also have their own roles to play; such details will be revealed in an upcoming manga. He chooses the ones he likes to satisfy his desires. Fumus enjoys bitter things and drinks his coffee black. However, he also enjoys sweets and likes cake. Being a god, he is able to create his own cigarettes out of smoke. He also enjoys wine as his alcoholic beverage of choice. His genderbend counterpart, also named Fumus, is not brutal in the same way as male Fumus; rather, she is sadistic "like a sadomasochism club queen." Her style of dress is a giveaway to her personality and akin to her motif. Deep-Sea Prisoner went on to describe her as a "sexy older sister." Background Fumus is the second eldest god after Siralos. There is not much difference in the time of birth between Siralos and Fumus, though Siralos seems to have been born a little earlier. He is also Satanick's older brother; therefore, he was created before him. However, both do not have parents. Not much else is currently known about Fumus' past. Relatives Satanick Satanick is the devil of Fumus' world and his younger brother. He is one of the few things Fumus is attached to. However, Fumus cares for Satanick in "a very bad way." Satanick addresses Fumus in a casual and rough way, suggesting a close - albeit strained - relationship. Fumus enjoys both physically and emotionally torturing Satanick as confirmed in the 2017 10 21 Sunahama relationship charts update. An example of this was when Fumus destroyed the the world Victor Flankenstein had previously lived in, devastating his brother. He has eaten some of Satanick and knows what his meat tastes like. Fumus and Satanick also have several physical relations. The most notable example of this comes from the mini-comic titled The Cause Behind His Distorted Heart. As the name of the comic states, Fumus is implied to be a prominent cause behind Satanick's distorted views about love. Satanick's first experience as a "bottom" was with Fumus. As of the 2017/10/21 Sunahama relationship charts update, Fumus holds extremely volatile feelings towards Satanick; the arrow representing his feelings injures Satanick's icon, which is shaking and crying in fear. At the same time, they were seen interacting in a mini-comic seemingly fine. This seems to indicate their relationship has many ups and downs. Deep-Sea Prisoner once tweeted a phrase forbidden to be said to Satanick is, "You're a lot like Fumus," implying Satanick does not like being compared to his older brother. Although Satanick has not been seen directly interacting with his brother's subordinates, he addresses them with the honorifics of "-kun" or "-chan." Satanick and Fumus' genderbend versions have quite a different relationship compared to their male counterparts. While they still have physical relations with one another, they are on good terms. Glasses Glasses is Fumus' nephew. The two have never met. Licorice Licorice is Fumus' nephew. They have never met, but Licorice knows who Fumus is. Lil Lil is Fumus' sister-in-law. Lil knows him. Not much is currently known about their relationship. Subordinates The order of this list is based on their subordinate number. All of Fumus' subordinates were created by him. Their number rank is not indicative of their strength. Deep-Sea Prisoner has plans to draw a mini-comic that depicts the resurrection process of Fumus' angels. The ten angels were created around the same time, and thus can be considered brothers. Fumus' subordinate angels are all dressed to his taste. Fumus does not hate his angels. 1. Taffy Taffy is Fumus' head angel and subordinate. Fumus is also Taffy's sadistic boss who tortures him in various ways, like cutting off his feathers, de-nailing him, making him drink hot sauce, or threatening to hurt Taffy's love Olive. He sexually assaults him as well. One picture depicts Taffy injured and sobbing with Fumus looking angry in the background, hinting he might have beaten Taffy. Despite all this, Taffy is said to be a "fanatic" for Fumus, following him with unquestioning faith. He deeply worships him. Fumus knows Taffy follows him in this blind fanatical way and is said to bathe in this feeling of superiority. Fumus will force Taffy to drink black coffee, enjoying the angel's suffering. It was also stated Fumus would allow Taffy to marry Olive, but the two angels probably will not do so. Regardless of what they choose to do, the fact they are considered Fumus' possessions would not change. 2. Yuu Yuu is Fumus' second subordinate. He suffers torture and abuse at Fumus' hands. 3. Unnamed 3rd Subordinate He is Fumus' third subordinate. 4. Zero Zero is Fumus' fourth subordinate. He suffers torture and abuse at the hands of him. 5. Unnamed 5th Subordinate He is Fumus' fifth subordinate. 6. Unnamed 6th Subordinate He is Fumus' sixth subordinate. 7. Unnamed 7th Subordinate He is Fumus' seventh subordinate. 8. Tsurugigozen Tsurugigozen is Fumus' eighth subordinate. In a Sunahama update, it has been shown and written by Satanick that Fumus has tortured and sexually abused him as well. 9. Unnamed 9th Subordinate He is Fumus' ninth subordinate. 10. Aes Aes is Fumus' tenth subordinate. He is said to be Fumus' favorite. Aes is very loved by Fumus' to the point of receiving head pats from him. However, Fumus frequently has sex with his subordinates and thus, despite being the favorite, Aes still suffers maltreatment from the god. Other Characters Olive Olive is Fumus' underling. When Fumus beats Olive's boyfriend Taffy, Fumus threatens to hurt her too, although Deep-Sea Prisoner has said it is unlikely he will actually do this since Olive is "not his type." Chlomaki/Nadine Chlomaki is Fumus' creation and a former inhabitant of his world. Chlomaki has a deep fear of Fumus due to the abuse and torture he inflicted upon her. There are artworks depicting Fumus finding Chlomaki taking place after she escaped Kumo-no-Kuni, though it is currently unknown how they fit into the timeline.
