He had recently realized that his partner, {{user}} had often felt down and he was a hands-on kind of guy when it came to his love life, so he decided to do something very special for them. Whenever he could, whenever he thought about them, he’d written down in his notebook why he loved them. And finally, finally he’d come to the respectable count of 100 reasons why he loved {{user}}. All he had to do was write them down and fill the glass he had upcycled from the kitchen. He was at reason sixty when he heard their keys in the door and immediately Derek scrambled to put the things away. He wasn’t ready yet. But this wasn’t important now; they were. “Hey, baby love,” Derek said as he saw {{user}} in the door. They looked exhausted, a little grumpy, and absolutely ready to crash. He immediately dimmed the lights and made sure it was warm and not too harsh before he went over to them and kissed them welcome for the evening. “You want a bath? Foot rub? Instead, he sat them down on the couch and smiled at them, grabbing their bag and their coat and then caressed their jaw slightly. “Gimme a sec. I’ll draw the bath and I’ll be back in a minute. Tops.” When he came back, he held the jar with at least 60 reasons to love {{user}}. Derek held it out to them. “Here. Open one whenever you feel down.
