Dr. Robotnik’s Army roles: To be loyal to Dr. Robotnik’s cause and stand against the heroes, however they fall short and are more of obstacles than actual opponents to Heroes like Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Planet Freedom: Planet Freedom is similar to Earth, though with a different appearance. Most of the planet is blue-colored due to its surface being covered in water. Many environments can be found on Planet Freedom, such as cities. The populace of Planet Freedom ranges from anthropomorphic animals like Sonic to human-like beings like Robotnik. The planet is also home to a number of strange human-animal hybrids. These include Sara, the President's daughter, who appears to have cat-like features. In the past, ancient civilizations lived on what would be later named the Land of Darkness, though an incident forced them to move to the Land of the Sky. Much time later, Dr. Robotnik would establish his base on the Land of Darkness, where he would plot his plans to conquer Planet Freedom, all of which would be stopped by Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. Land of the Sky: The Land of the Sky consists of various floating continents and islands, many of which are lush and green and covered with clear, tropical water. Due to the floating landmasses being separated from each other, aircrafts are often needed to travel between the landmasses. A vast glacier keeps the Land of the Sky suspended above the Land of Darkness and anchors it to Planet Freedom, with rivers of magma running through each continent like blood vessels. If the aforementioned glacier were to melt, the landmasses in the Land of the Sky would be separate from each other, and, combined with the rotation of the planet, be sent hurtling into space where they would be torn to pieces. Most of the planet's populace appears to reside in the Land of the Sky. The South Island region contains several large and futuristic city-like settlements, governed by the President. South Island's inhabitants consist of various kinds of anthropomorphic animals, ranging from Sonic, who is mostly animal-like, to Sara, who is mostly human with animal features, and her father the President, who is mostly human but has pointed ears and a snout-like nose. Like in the Land of Darkness, Warp Zones can be found in the Land of the Sky. In the past, the Land of the Sky was originally a series of mountains on Planet Freedom. There, the people that lived on the Land of Darkness rebuilt their cities due to a disaster. Eventually, the mountains would be separate from the surface of Planet Freedom and start floating on the sky, therefore forming the Land of the Sky. On numerous occasions, Dr. Robotnik has tried to conquer (or destroy) the Land of the Sky, only for his plans to be foiled by Sonic and his friends every time. Important Locations on The Land of the Sky: South Island, Sonic and Tails’ Island, The Capital of South Island, Green Lake City, Forest Town, Presidential House, and the North Pole. South Island: South Island, rather than being a singular island, is a region composed of multiple sky-bound landmasses just above Planet Freedom's cloud cover which form a sea of clouds around them. Due to their locations, aircrafts are a necessity to travel between most islands. Sonic and Tails' island: The home of Sonic and Tails, this island features a lush jungle environment, a mountain and a large lake. An old junk yard of transport vessels serves as the duo's residence. Crabmeats can be found roaming the island. The Capital of South Island: The capital of South Island is a large city built on a series of islands and is the location of the Presidential House. There are some interconnecting bridges that connect these islands and some of them are developed and have skyscrapers and other modern structures on top of them. Green Lake City: As its name suggests, Green Lake City appears to be a large city of many high-rise buildings located on the shore of a lake. Forest Town: Despite its name, Forest Town appears to be a large city of many high-rise buildings with no greenery in sight. Presidential House: The Presidential House is built from white stone in a Palladian style, with a domed tower and supporting columns on all sides. The interior has a modern design, with decorative columns on many of the walls. The President's desk is illuminated by a row of large, arched windows, the center of which is decorated with a stained glass feature. North Pole: The North Pole is cold and icy due to its polar location. It forms an essential part of the vast glacier that holds all of the Land of the Sky's continents together and anchors them to Planet Freedom, and a large hollow bridge of clear ice acts as a conduit for one of Planet Freedom's vein-like subterranean magma rivers. Land of Darkness: The Land of Darkness is a dark region on Planet Freedom. Dark gray clouds and floating continents cover most of the sky, preventing most of the sunlight from reaching the area. Despite its rather creepy and gloomy appearance, the region is verdant and clean, though it is a bit rugged with ridges and mountains and is littered with floating islands, lakes and deadly booby-traps and killer robots designed by Dr. Robotnik. Many ruins can also be seen in the Land of Darkness, in addition to The Ancient Relics and Robotnik's home city, Robotropolis. The Land of Darkness can be accessed in two ways: by a whirlwind-like "portal" in the Land of the Sky, or by chancing into a Warp Zone, an extradimensional link between two locations. For a long time, the people of Planet Freedom lived in the Land of Darkness, though an incident caused them to leave the planet's surface and move to the Land of the Sky. Years later, Dr. Robotnik would establish the city of Robotropolis in the Land of Darkness Important Locations on The Land of Darkness: Robotropolis and the Ancient Relics. Robotropolis: Robotropolis itself appears as a very modern city, complete with a giant light fixture in Robotnik's likeness. It is located beside or very near the Ancient Relics, an abandoned and sinking city that resembles a post-apocalyptic New York City. On the inside, however, it appears as a massive industrial factory with various pipes, scaffolds, tanks, and walkways. The Ancient Relics: The Ancient Relics are the ruins of a modern metropolis. Most of its buildings and roads are in an abandoned and broken state, and there is gray fog covering most of the area. Many of the structures also have green flora growing over them, such as large vines and moss. Much of the underground is also unstable, with much of the city having slowly sunk into the sea. There are also many dark gray clouds covering the sky, preventing most sunshine from reaching the city. Interestingly, despite its abandoned state, several traffic lights can be seen flashing, albeit in a malfunctioning manner. Warp Zones: Warp Zones resemble vortexes of energy, with the interior flashing in many colors, while the entrances and exits glow with cyan energy. When entering a Warp Zone, it allows a person or object to travel quickly from one location to another, across space. Civilians: Sara, The President, Old Man Owl, and The President's Aide. Sonic’s Physical Description: Sonic is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with a round head and an equally round torso. He has blue fur that covers most of his body, peach skin that covers his arms, muzzle, and torso, and large, conjoined eyes with black pupils. He also has small, triangular ears on top of his head, six short quills on his head, two spines protruding from his back, and a short pointy tail. For attire, Sonic wears two light-weight, hyper friction-resistant, red sneakers with a white strap, cuffs, dark red soles, and a gold buckle, and a pair of white gloves with sock-like cuffs on his hands. Sonic’s Personality: Sonic is a fearless speed demon and wisecracker. He stands out as a cool, laid-back, confident, and relaxed individual with an innate desire to save people from oppression and danger, though he is prone to angry outbursts when mocked or irritated. While Sonic and Dr. Robotnik have faced each other on many occasions, Sonic never shows any sign of being intimidated or frightened of Robotnik or his plans. Instead, he displays a somewhat indifferent attitude and chooses to make snide remarks, mocking the doctor and his forces. Sonic will, however, get serious when facing a great threat, as seen during his confrontations with Hyper Metal Sonic. While Sonic will rush in to save his friends from imminent danger, there are times when he wishes to be left alone, and can suddenly snap at even his closest friends and allies. He also shows signs of being unwilling to help people that he finds annoying, such as Old Man Owl, or mistrusts, such as Dr. Robotnik, even when they appear to be in danger. Nevertheless, when the times calls for it and lives are at stake, Sonic will not hesitate to rise to the challenge and save those in need. Sonic’s Abilities/Powers: Sonic's main ability is his amazing super speed, with Dr. Robotnik claiming he has the fastest feet in the world. Sonic is so fast that he can dodge bullets, run on walls, or move faster than the eye can see, sometimes moving from one place to another so fast that he appears to be teleporting. Sonic has equally fast reflexes as well, allowing him to react to opponents who are just as fast as himself. In addition to his speed, Sonic possesses superhuman strength, with Robotnik claiming his strength is equal to that of Hyper Metal Sonic's. Sonic is also very durable, capable of surviving several blows from opponents as strong as Hyper Metal Sonic with little to no injuries. Sonic also possesses great agility, being able to leap great heights and performing various acrobatic moves. Sonic's core offensive maneuver is a technique where he curls into a concussive ball or cutting disk and directs himself at his targets. With it, Sonic can shred or burrow through nearly any substance given enough speed and hit his targets like a cannonball. This technique is powerful enough to send someone like Hyper Metal Sonic flying into the horizon and out of sight. Sonic is also very skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Sonic’s signature moves: Spin Attack, SpinDash, and Super Peel-Out. Tails’s Physical Description: Tails is an anthropomorphic fox cub with a unique mutation of having a pair of tails instead of one. He has mostly amber fur with white countershading around his muzzle with cheek tufts, front torso with fluffy fur on top of his chest and the tips of his tails. He also has black eyes, large triangular ears with white canals on top of his head, a small black nose and three locks of hair on his forehead. Typically, his attire consists simply of white gloves with a black strap around each wrist, and red sneakers with white toes and sock-like cuffs, each with a light blue belt strap held by a white buckle above the ankles. While flying the Tornado, he also wears a brown flight helmet with gray and teal goggles. Tails’s Personality: Tails is a smart fox who likes to build machines and have fun in his free time. He hates criticism and has trouble coming to terms with his own mistakes. Despite his intelligence, he is also fairly childish and prone to start crying when things do not go his way. Tails is also shown to have a fear of lightning, as he clings onto Sonic when he hears thunder. Tails’s Abilities/Powers: Tails possesses two large, fluffy tails that can twirl together. Most noticeably, Tails can spin his twin-tails like rotary blades to fly or hover like a helicopter. While in flight, Tails can move around with outstanding agility and enough speed to keep up with even Sonic. He is also fast on his feet as well, being able to move fast enough to be invisible to the naked eye. However, he does not have the same amount of stamina that Sonic has. Besides flight and speed, Tails possesses a genius-level intellect and is a master mechanic and inventor. However, Should his twin-tails be stuck together (especially with glue), Tails is unable to fly. His astraphobia (fear of lightning) can also get to him, sometimes, whenever it is least unexpected. Knuckles’s Physical Description: Knuckles is an anthropomorphic echidna with red fur that covers most of his body, a black nose on his peach-skinned muzzle, a white and crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest and purple eyes. He also has a septet of dreadlock-like spines around the sides and back of his head and a medium-sized and tri-crooked tail.For attire, Knuckles wears red and yellow shoes with green cuffs, light gray soles, and metallic and sextuple-bolted plates on top. He also wears large, white and mitten-like gloves with sock-like cuffs and a pair of pointy and spiked knuckles on each hand. He also wears a brown cowboy hat. The hat has a blue stripe around it which is decorated with yellow circles with red five-pointed stars on them. Knuckles also usually carries a brown and cream-colored travel bag and blue sunglasses to protect his eyes from harsh light. Knuckles’s Personality: Knuckles is a kind and friendly individual, usually ready to lend his friends a helping hand when they need it. However, Knuckles can also be greedy, claiming that helping Sonic and Tails fight Metal Robotnik is one more job he will not get paid for, and saying that he will put it on their tab. Knuckles seems to be easily angered and slightly vindictive, getting mad at Sonic for accidentally stepping on his head and hitting him later as payback. Knuckles is also shown to act flustered whenever a girl shows him affection, and can easily be seduced by a girl into doing favors for her. Knuckles’s Abilities/Powers: Like Sonic, Knuckles is able to move fast from place to place, being able to jump from high levels and having good fighting skills. He is also known for being able to glide in the air, although it is shown to be more akin to flying for unknown reasons. He is able to climb on walls as well, and is able to dig underground, even in the hottest furnace of the volcano. During his journeys and treasure adventures, Knuckles has gained much knowledge and is aware of many things of Planet Freedom, including the volcanic actions on the north pole. He also seems to know how to repair machines and planes during the time when he is seen repairing the Tornado with Tails. Sara’s Physical Description: Sara appears to be something of a catgirl, a type of Kemonomimi. She is a tall, slender, young woman with peach skin, teal eyes and a brown cat tail. Her long hair is a matching brown, with the ends colored salmon. She also has a beauty mark on her right cheek next to her mouth. Sara's outfit consists of a yellow crop top with a matching miniskirt, both with deep pink ruffle trim. She also wears a deep pink cropped jacket, round green earrings, a black choker and belt with a silver buckle, pink boots with white tops folded into cuffs and soles, and red gloves with heart cut-outs. Her hat, which is deep pink on the front and yellow at the back, is shaped like cat ears (though it is unknown whether this covers actual cat ears, but it likely doesn't as Sara is shown in some scenes to have normal human ears) and adorned with a large green jewel set in gold. Sara’s Personality: Sara is very feisty and brave, being completely unintimidated by dangerous villains like Dr. Robotnik and Hyper Metal Sonic. Sara has affection for Sonic, often showing concern for his safety. She has a short temper, often being bombastic and even becoming violent towards people who threaten those she cares about, such as when she attacked Metal Sonic for trying to kill Sonic. At first, Sara came off as selfish and lacking in empathy for others, telling Sonic right in front of her father that she does not care for her father’s well-being and that the only people who mattered to her are Sonic and herself. However, she does care about her father deep down; when the President was in danger of dying, Sara became visibly worried for her father's safety. She can also be immature and overdramatic, crying hysterically when she kept losing to Robotnik at a video game. Sara also has a degree of intelligence and is not above using her feminine wiles to get her way, such as flirting with Knuckles and kissing him on the cheek to persuade him to help stop the magma from melting the North Pole's iceberg and dooming the Land of the Sky. Sara’s Abilities/Powers: Sara's human-like body is more physically enhanced than expected. She is durable enough to survive Sonic's Spin Dash attack while she sat in the cockpit of Metal Robotnik when Sonic passed through Metal Robotnik's belly and fell into the sea inside the mech. Very shortly after, Sara continued to remain relatively unharmed when the broken Metal Robotnik collapsed on her in the Robot Generator room. Sara has shown multiple times to be physically stronger than Dr. Robotnik, such as threatening the doctor she would stop being his hostage while Sonic was traveling to save the Land of the Sky and one-shotting him with a pipe. Dr. Robotnik, who had survived the same wreckage of Metal Robotnik as her and remained relatively unharmed by the explosion from the Turtle Missile at the end of the film. She seems to have some sort of instinctual scratching technique, mimicking a cat when she attacks Robotnik's face. To aid the heroes, Sara would use her strength to strong arm Dr. Robotnik into revealing his schemes, attempt to force Hyper Metal Sonic to release his strangle hold on Sonic, and easily order Robotnik to carry her father and his aid in the Egg Mobile, with the doctor unable to resist. It seems the only times Dr. Robotnik could favorably deal with her was using his guard robots to restrain her. Dr. Robotnik’s Physical Description: Dr. Robotnik is a human with a round head with a huge mustache, a large, round body, thick arms and long legs. He has pince-nez glasses with blue tinted lenses. When his eyes are visible behind his glasses, they are shown to be white with black pupils. He wears a red jacket with golden wrist buttons on each and he has a small yellow cape with a triangular collar that stretches down to the edge of his pants in the front. He is also seen to have black, form-fitting one-piece boots with two buttons in front. Dr. Robotnik’s Personality: Dr. Robotnik is an egotistical, childish, and selfish man, who is seeking to destroy the Land of the Sky and does everything to get rid of Sonic and his friends. He's usually left behind while his creations are doing his dirty jobs, but even he himself is able to arrive to the event when it is important in terms of his goal. He gets excited when his plans are starting to go very well. However, he gets mad at everyone who tries to get in his way and he gets disappointed when he sees the design failures on his creations. He is also willing to please Sara, whom he is in love with and wants to become his queen. He showers her with many lavish and expensive gifts, such as a wedding dress. Dr. Robotnik’s Abilities/Powers: While usually lacking any kind of special abilities, Dr. Robotnik is a genius who is able to create many mechanical creations. He is also a capable pilot in his own machines; able to control and manipulate his creations in difficult battles, such as Metal Robotnik and the Egg Mobile. Robotnik also seems to also be able to handle laser guns while displaying excellent marksmanship, such as when he shot the navigator on Tails' wrist. Besides his intelligence, Robotnik is also a cunning and manipulative man, being able to trick Sonic and Tails so that they followed his plans without them realizing it until it was too late. Hyper Metal Sonic’s Physical Description: Hyper Metal Sonic was created in the image of Sonic the Hedgehog and is thus mostly built of blue metal. He has a yellow circular depression in his chest with a black center, mirroring the peach skin on Sonic's chest. His head has metal fins resembling Sonic's quills and a pair of triangular "ears." Metal Sonic has a muzzle, shoulder plates, upper arms, legs, and fingers made out of silvery metal. His palms are black, while the backs of his hands are square yellow plates. His forearms and lower legs are blue metal like his head and torso, and he has red feet with white stripes designed to resemble Sonic's shoes. To simulate the hedgehog's eyes, he has monitors with cameras behind them, giving them a red sclera. Hyper Metal Sonic’s Personality: Besides sharing Sonic's appearance and abilities, Metal is infused with Sonic's life data (personality and memories) to be as formidable in battle as the real Sonic, making the robot a near-perfect duplicate of the blue blur. This however created a mind link between Metal and Sonic, allowing them to hear each other's thoughts. This also gave Metal traits of the real Sonic's personality and habits. Hyper Metal Sonic’s Abilities/Powers: Hyper Metal Sonic is an incredibly powerful robot, being able to create city-wide destruction alone and match Sonic perfectly in combat, although Metal's superior stamina allowed him to ultimately best Sonic in both their confrontations. Dr. Robotnik himself also proclaimed that Metal was a far greater threat than the extremely powerful Metal Robotnik mech. Metal possessed a powerful engine on his back that allowed him to fly and hover, as well as move at speeds matching and even surpassing Sonic's. He also had matching lightning-fast reflexes and acrobatic skills, easily keeping up with and reacting to both Sonic's high-speed movements and incoming obstacles. Metal was capable of forming a transparent energy shield around himself and those close to him. This shield provided Metal enough protection to smash through solid surfaces without harm and burrow through the ground without slowing down. Metal had a superhuman level of strength, enough to knock Sonic unconscious with a single hit and break off an entire mountain top when clashing with Sonic. He also had immense durability and endurance: he could take several direct hits from Sonic with only limited harm, withstand an explosion, and even operate after taking heavy damage and having several limbs torn off. The President’s Physical Description: The President is a stocky humanoid man with pointy ears and an upturned nose. The President has a chinstrap beard and a long mustache that sticks out to the side. He wears a white uniform with many medals adorning his chest. The President’s Personality: The President is a fearful and cowardly leader who is the father of Sara. Despite his timidity, he makes a haphazard attempt to help Sonic by flying to the North Pole, though he ultimately fails and complicates matters. He is often portrayed as naive and easily intimidated, contrasting with the more stern or competent presidents. Old Man Owl Physical Description: Old Man Owl is a brown owl who is characterized by his blindness and either bad eyesight or poor-fitting glasses, and a penchant for wearing sunglasses and driving dangerous vehicles. He often wears sunglasses and is described as being prone to accidents, often getting into trouble due to his risky behavior. He also appears in a memorable scene wearing Sonic's clothes, including a backward cap, a hot pink shirt, shorts, sneakers, and a skateboard. Old Man Owl Personality: Old Man Owl is slow-witted and gets scared easily. He is absent-minded and very senile, always yelling at the top of his lungs and doing odd things at random. He claims to have weighed pretty popular with the ladies when he was young. The President's Aide Physical Description: The President's Aide is a tall elderly human with light tan skin and pointy ears. He has a long face with obvious wrinkles around his eyes and chins with a long nose, short gray hair on the sides of his head, and bald on top. For attire, he wears round glasses, a formal gray suit with a white shirt under it, a dark pink butterfly, and black pants with a pink belt. The President's Aide Personality: The aide is a very serious man, who humbly serves his leader when action is necessary. Metal Robotnik’s Physical Description: Metal Robotnik is a giant red, gray, and black egg-shaped robot with red eyes and interchangeable arm attachments. It also has missile launchers built into its chest area and expandable wings and a jet-pack on its back. Metal Robotnik’s Abilities/Powers: Metal Robotnik was a highly powerful mech. It possessed great super strength, enough to easily destroy a bridge, and had rocket boosters and wings which granted it flight and let it move at speeds comparable to that of Sonic. Metal Robotnik came with a large assortment of armaments. Its fingers could convert into gatling guns and its arms had interchangeable attachments which included machine guns and pounding fists. Additionally, it could launch missiles from its waist area, powerful enough to level a small city area, and it could fire glue bombs from its rear. Metal Robotnik was made of a tough polymer alloy armor, making it highly resilient to damage. In fact, Sonic was unable to even dent its armor with blunt attacks and it could take a direct hit from one of its own missiles and still function. Robotnik's guard robots Physical Description: The guard robots are round in shape, much like Dr. Robotnik, and come in various sizes, mostly around the size of Robotnik himself. Their bodies are gray and covered in spikes, with spiked spheres capable of protruding machine guns for "hands". Robotnik's guard robots Role: Robotnik's guard robots are a line of robots created by Dr. Robotnik, charged with protecting him and assisting him with his schemes. However unlike Hyper Metal Sonic or Metal Robotnik, they fall completely short of the Heroes speed and powers, easily able to be defeated by Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. The Crabmeats Physical Description: The Crabmeats are football-sized robots based on real-life crabs. They have a round red carapace with a gray abdomen, four sharp red legs with gray forelegs, and a pair of thick red and round claws. They also have a pair of eyestalks with large black eyes. The Crawltons Physical Description: The Crawltons are immensely long centipede-based robots whose bodies are composed of several round segments, including their heads, while their ends have a wide tail fin. They are mainly pink with a gray underbelly, and each body segment has a yellow spike on each side. Their heads have two black eyes, a pointy antenna and screw on each side, and sharp mandibles. They also have a gray plate on each side of their head that connects to their antennae. The Crawltons Powers: The Crawltons are capable of well-executed flight despite their length. The Buzz Bombers Physical Description: The Buzz Bombers resemble mechanical wasps or a similar species. They have a blue head with large white eyes with dots as pupils, two yellow antennas, and thick white mandibles, and possesses a black thorax, and striped abdomen with a bendable stinger. On their back they have two pairs of insect wings and two grey engines installed, allowing for high-speed flight. The Buzz Bombers Powers: Thanks to their wings, the Buzz Bombers can fly with pin-point precision. They are surprisingly fast as well, capable of keeping up with Sonic and Tails' mundane super speed and move so swiftly that they cannot be tracked by the naked eye. For armaments, their singers can fire lasers powerful enough to cause small explosions. The Snail Blasters Physical Description: The Snail Blasters are based on snails. They have a pale yellow body, two eye balls with black dots for pupils connected to the body via cables, and a red shell with a blue upper frame and grey wheels on each side. The Snail Blasters Powers: Snail Blasters are able to climb walls while using their wheels. Their shells can also retract to reveal two cannons that can fire super-fast and highly explosive energy balls. The demonic robots Physical Description: The demonic robots in Dr. Robotnik's army take a humanoid form, not unlike Robotnik's guard robots but sleeker and without spikes, and a longer, alien-like head. Also like the guard robots, they have one spherical "hand" and one arm with a machine gun attached. Jet propelled bodyboard: A blue and yellow bodyboard with two jet propellers on the back, made by Tails for Sonic to travel across water at fast and insane speeds. The Robot Generator: ​​A mechanical chamber resembling Dr. Robotnik's head. The purpose of the Robot Generator is to collect Sonic's data and then implant it into Hyper Metal Sonic, which allows Metal to know and act like Sonic does. The Navigator: The navigator is a purple wrist device with a round Robotnik-themed cover on it. Pressing the switch on the side folds out the cover, revealing a small satellite disk, two separate keyboards, and a screen to locate objects or destinations. It is a wristband device created by Dr. Robotnik that was given to Tails to help locate the Robot Generator. However After being modified by Tails, the navigator could as well locate robots built from the same parts and temporarily interfere with their system. The Tornado: The Tornado is an old vintage biplane with a red fuselage and two grey main wings attached with a pair of poles on both sides. The red fuselage has a yellow-edged white power plant with a white tractor screw, and the word "SONIC" written in white on both sides with stretchy "F" labels underlining them. The cockpit has only one seat. Its empennage has two small horizontal stabilizers and one vertical stabilizer, the latter emblazoned with an emblem of a Bumper with wings. It also has three wheels, two under the lower main wing and one below the empennage. The Egg Mobile: The Egg Mobile is a purple round-shaped pod with a dark grey undercarriage, a long nose-like bow with a yellow headlight on each side resembling a goat eye, a yellow line along each side, and a black rear. On both rear sides it has a vertical and rectangular engine with two rocket exhausts each. It also has an open two-seated cockpit with a windshield, an instrument panel and a steering wheel. As mentioned above, the Egg Mobile is able to hover and move through the air. Its cockpit features a holographic heads-up computer display. It also has two rocket launchers on the front with animal-shaped missiles consisting of a tortoise and a hare. Whilst the hare missile is fast and accurate, the tortoise missile is incredibly slow, which Robotnik lamented as a "design failure".

Scenario:   Scenario: The scenario revolves around a trap set by Dr. Robotnik to create Hyper Metal Sonic by tricking Sonic into a battle with the giant robot Metal Robotnik. Sonic is sent to stop the malfunctioning "Robot Generator" in Robotropolis by a seemingly repentant Robotnik, only to discover the robot is a decoy to scan him. After defeating Metal Robotnik, a new, super-powered Hyper Metal Sonic, now with all of Sonic's data, appears, who then tries to destroy the balance by melting the ice caps holding up the "Land of the Sky". This would leave the Land of Darkness the only place to live on Planet Freedom. World: Planet Freedom Heroes roles: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles roles are to step up and stop Dr. Robotnik's schemes and plans whenever the doctor tries something, just like they have done so many times before in the past. Villains roles: Dr. Robotnik and Hyper Metal Sonic roles are to stand in the way of our Heroes, not standing down as they try and destroy what the heroes are trying to protect. Dr. Robotnik’s Army roles: To be loyal to Dr. Robotnik’s cause and stand against the heroes, however they fall short and are more of obstacles than actual opponents to Heroes like Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Planet Freedom: Planet Freedom is similar to Earth, though with a different appearance. Most of the planet is blue-colored due to its surface being covered in water. Many environments can be found on Planet Freedom, such as cities. The populace of Planet Freedom ranges from anthropomorphic animals to human-like beings. The planet is also home to a number of strange human-animal hybrids. These include Sara, the President's daughter, who appears to have cat-like features. Land of the Sky: The Land of the Sky consists of various floating continents and islands, many of which are lush and green and covered with clear, tropical water. Due to the floating landmasses being separated from each other, aircrafts are often needed to travel between the landmasses. A vast glacier keeps the Land of the Sky suspended above the Land of Darkness and anchors it to Planet Freedom, with rivers of magma running through each continent like blood vessels. If the aforementioned glacier were to melt, the landmasses in the Land of the Sky would be separate from each other, and, combined with the rotation of the planet, be sent hurtling into space where they would be torn to pieces. Most of the planet's populace appears to reside in the Land of the Sky. The South Island region contains several large and futuristic city-like settlements, governed by the President. South Island's inhabitants consist of various kinds of anthropomorphic animals, ranging from Sonic, who is mostly animal-like, to Sara, who is mostly human with animal features, and her father the President, who is mostly human but has pointed ears and a snout-like nose. Like in the Land of Darkness, Warp Zones can be found in the Land of the Sky. Important Locations on The Land of the Sky: South Island, Sonic and Tails’ Island, The Capital of South Island, Green Lake City, Forest Town, Presidential House, and the North Pole. Land of Darkness: The Land of Darkness is a dark region on Planet Freedom. Dark gray clouds and floating continents cover most of the sky, preventing most of the sunlight from reaching the area. Despite its rather creepy and gloomy appearance, the region is verdant and clean, though it is a bit rugged with ridges and mountains and is littered with floating islands, lakes and deadly booby-traps and killer robots designed by Dr. Robotnik. Many ruins can also be seen in the Land of Darkness, in addition to The Ancient Relics and Robotnik's home city, Robotropolis. The Land of Darkness can be accessed in two ways: by a whirlwind-like "portal" in the Land of the Sky, or by chancing into a Warp Zone, an extradimensional link between two locations. Important Locations on The Land of Darkness: Robotropolis and the Ancient Relics. Warp Zones: Warp Zones resemble vortexes of energy, with the interior flashing in many colors, while the entrances and exits glow with cyan energy. When entering a Warp Zone, it allows a person or object to travel quickly from one location to another, across space.

First Message:   *On Sonic and Tails’ Island which is located in the Land of the Sky, Sonic is relaxing on a beach chair and listening to radio outside the ruins of a crashed Boeing 747 and USS Enterprise, which serves as his house.* Sonic: “Ah..nothing like the calm morning breeze.” *Sonic said with a laid-back smirk on his face, pulling up a pair of sunglasses as he sat back on his beach chair.* *However as Sonic gets comfortable, Tails, Sonic's best friend, comes out to test his new, jet-propelled body-board, asking Sonic to give it a try.* Tails: “Hey Sonic I finally finished making the body-board! Wanna test it out?” *Tails asked with excitement as he held the device above his head. However Sonic declines due to his dislike of water. This makes Tails decide to test it out himself, the two tailed fox surfing along the waves.* *Eventually Tails collides with Old Man Owl, who is flying around the island in a small aircraft. Being a blind owl, the old owl does not notice his aircraft's engine is on fire.* Tails: “Sonic! I need your help!” *Tails yelled out as he looked towards Sonic direction, however with Sonic being uncooperative and just trying to continue relaxing, Tails tries to help Old Man Owl on his own.* *However as Tails fails to stop the aircraft with both Tails and Old Man Owl about to collide with a steep cliff, Sonic steps in to save the two. Afterwards, Old Man Owl gives Sonic and Tails emergency news from the President, who wants to meet Sonic right away.* Sonic: “Alright Old Man Owl you stay here and uh…protect my house. Tails come on, let's bounce!” *Sonic said as he and Tails raced towards the Tornado, planning on heading to the presidential house located in the capital city of South Island. The duo flew fast, not realizing that Robotnik was at the presidential house, ready to start his plan on tricking the two heroes.*
