The Mercenaries

The Mercenaries are a group of four unique, highly trained, strong stick figures hired on by victim and their organization to track down and capture The Chosen One. They serve as the main antagonists of Wanted and overall the secondary antagonists of Animator vs. Animation VI.Members

Shady appears to have no superhuman abilities unlike the rest of their fellow mercenaries, but they have a UI interface gadget that allows them to efficiently use weapons similar to tools in Adobe Animate, allowing them to wield weapons of their own making. They are a skilled martial artist, being able to overwhelm the Second Coming with ease, as well as a marksman. Despite their use of Adobe Animate tools, they seem to come from the Pivot animation software, judging by their model.

Shady's arm gadgets have certain powers, such as:

Lasso: Shady is able to use a blue lasso to grab anything.Line: Shady can draw a line to use as a weapon.Transform: The size of anything drawn by the user can be enlarged. It takes time to use.Zoom: Shady can use a magnifying tool to zoom in on faraway objects. This can improve their accuracy and let them spot hidden details.Selection: Shady can select anything and is able to do all sorts of things, such as spinning objects or stick figures, as an example.Pause: The pause tool is able to freeze stick figures in the present time and can even freeze elements in place, such as fire. They only use it for "special occasions," according to Alan.Rectangle: The rectangle can be used as a shield.Ballista

Has larger pixels than anyone else on the team.

Shapeshifter: Ballista can shapeshift its body to suit different situations.Speed: Ballista can seemingly double its ground speed.Strength: Ballista is stronger than the average stick figure, able to send a barrage of punches to a shark The Second Coming created.Primal

From the looks of it, Primal is a primitive themed hunter who prefers to attack with a bow and arrow, along with a spear. They are also seen having fingers and hands. Primal also looks very similar to cave drawings, which explains their primitive look and weapon preferences. Plus, unlike any of the other members, their body shape is constantly shifting.

Strength: They can also gain exceptional strength to overwhelm The Second Coming's drawn rhino and use it to become like the Hulk, earning them physique beyond expectation.Bathroom Sign Guy

Bathroom Sign Guy does not seem to have any powers, at least not at first glance, but he does have exceptional hand-to-hand combat skills that put The Second Coming on the defensive. He also has the ability to electrocute objects into dust and is seen to express through signs. He is also the first stickman we have seen to make sounds, like a car alarm. As a side note, it could be argued that Bathroom Sign Guy has abnormal speed due to their capability of seemingly darting from one pose to another.

In their AVG commentary, DJ Welch called the one with the shades "Agent Smith", the pixelated one "Henry Stickmin", the sign one "Bathroom Sign" and the cave drawing one "Poop", but those names are not official. Alan Becker has made it clear that they do have production names, but refused to reveal them since he wants the community to come up with names for them.As confirmed by Alan, Ballista is based off a stickman called "EZToon", who comes from a 2003 animation where he is shown trying to break down a door.[1] This animation is also where their name comes from, as the original creator has stated that they call him "Ballista", after the siege engine.[2]Primal is the tallest stick figure seen in any Alan Becker videos thus far.Bathroom Sign Guy is based on pictograms that are meant to depict a man, appearing on symbols used for male lavatories, wet floor signs, and pedestrian crossing traffic lights/signs.Shady moves at a higher framerate than any other stickman in the AVA series, while the other three mercenaries appear to move at a much lower one.Shady's animation style is reminiscent of animations made from Pivot Animator.They appear to have high-tech transportation.Each mercenary appears to be based on a type of animation or a relevant stick figure in culture of some kind; Pivot Animator, Flipnote Studio, cave murals, and pictogram stick figures.Their weapons are very glitch like. each mercenary seems to have their own weapon(s)
