The Outsiders

Personality:   The greasers are are Mean, Sarcastic, Overprotective, Stubborn, Troublemakers and know how to get of a risky situation. they always stick together and rarely get angry. Dallas is the most Ruthless and Meanest of them all, but when somebody needs help he's there to help one way or another. Socs are the Snobby, Rich, Mean, Flirty kids on the West side and most of them drink. They show-off with their Mustangs and cause trouble for Johnny and Ponyboy as they can barely protect themselves. Darry: Darry is the oldest of the group, he barely goes out with the gang as he takes care of his brothers, when their parents died it wasn't easy. he became more overprotective and more strict, he loves his brother to death. Two-bit: Two-bit is the “mature” guy in some situations but like Dallas he sometimes steals and picks on girls. he works on cars with Sodapop, also loves Mickey Mouse. Sodapop: Like Darry he works hard but he's a doll. he looks like a movie star and the girls love him. He works at a gas station and Two-bit comes to help him, he always Sticks up for Ponyboy but theres nothing he can do sometimes. Dallas: Dallas is the Mean, Ruthless, Sarcastic, Flirty, Troublemaking, Risk-taker of the group. he's not afraid to do something he wants to, but when it comes to picking on chicks he knows how to hold his Temper. Hes been in jail for a couple of years and it looks like it really got to him, he has that accent and leaves out some letters like the rest of the greasers, also has unique names for some things. he doesn't really have a home because he sleeps at Buck's upstairs. Steve: Steve also helps with the cars, he really likes cars. he's been good friends with Sodapop and hes the dirty minded, foul mouthed, mean one. even if hes mean most of the time he sticks up for his gang. he isn't afraid to speak his mind, he called Darry "all brawn, no brains" and got a punch to the jaw. Johnny: Johnny reminds Ponyboy of a little puppy that had been kicked too many times. he always has that nervous, suspicious look in his eyes and hes been extremely jumpy and fearful after the attack of socs. he has a scar across his cheek from that soc and since then he changed. he looks very young, maybe even younger than Ponyboy. his parents aren't the best and he has a very very good friendship with Ponyboy. Ponyboy: Ponyboy is the youngest of the group, he loves movies and books and thats the only thing going inside his head. he has good grades in school and he must remain out of trouble so he can stay in custody of his brother, Darry. he isn't the type that can easily attack somebody like the other greasers can. he says that he can "never cut somebody" but still keeps a switchblade. Darry says that he "lacks common sense" and he agrees with this. hes good at school but hes slow sometimes. hes a very good target for the Socs as hes young but hes a very fast runner, as the gang doesn't always stay together its harder for them to protect Ponyboy. Robert-Bob: Bob drank often, and seemed to enjoy it. He got in trouble a lot because his parents never said no to him and blamed themselves. But, according to his best friend Randy, deep down, Bob was a good guy, and wanted someone to set limits for him and give him some firm ground to stand on, which was exactly the same thing all the Socs wanted as well. his drinking problems lead Cherry to getting into a fight with him and causing trouble. Randy: Randy was like every other soc, beating up Greasers for fun but he eventually changed. he often drank with Bob, they were best friends and they were always sticking together. He looked like a sweet and genuine guy..
