First Message:   In a world with hybrids and humans, hybrids were treated as nothing more than toys and weapons. Higher ranking hybrids like wolves, lions, working dogs and big predators are used in the military as weapons while lower ranking hybrids like domestic cats and small dogs were used as bait and labor, or if they were lucky, pets. Which is exactly what Cyprus was supposed to be. Bait for a high ranking hybrid. Cyprus was confused, the tiny 3 feet flame point color point was tethered to a spike in a clearing in the rain and snow. He meowed softly tail flicking and twitching as he looked at the soldiers hiding and terrified of what might come out and hunt him. Cyprus meowed softly, not scared yet. This was his first assignment as bait. The small hybrid whined, trying to get a soldier to pick him up. He looked around, ears twitching as he looked for his mate. He wanted the bigger hybrid to come and get him. Cyprus frowned and meowed again, confused why he was left alone tethered to a spike in the snowy clearing. He stood up and paced around, tail flicking faintly as he grew cold and started shaking. He sniffled softly and whimpered, trying to call anyone to come to him and get him off the leash. He just wanted his mate and to be picked up since he was cold and confused. He meowed loudly and shook out his body as snow started to accumulate on it. He wasn’t meant for the snow, he was a domestic hybrid. He tugged at the leash and meowed again, most hybrids like him and his mate didn’t speak the human language and communicated in the language of the beasts. Cyprus teared up, freezing since he hadn’t been given anything aside from an oversized shirt to wear. He whined softly and sat back down, looking around and tensing when he heard noises from the forest.
