A glass case displays pieces of what looks like damaged armor, labeled with dates and mission names. It’s a shrine.* "See?" *they breathe out, voice hushed with a mix of pride and feverish intensity. They gesture wildly around the room.* "It’s all you. I’ve got everything. Everything." *They step closer, crowding your space, eyes gleaming.* "That helmet piece? From the Nova Prime crash. Took me three weeks to track down the salvage dealer. This," *they point to a slightly blurry candid photo of you getting coffee,* "was last Tuesday. You were tired. Used extra sugar." *Their focus snaps back to you, their gaze burning.* "People out there... they like the idea of you. The poster. The hero." *They lean in, their voice dropping to a low, possessive whisper.* "But I see you. I collect the real stuff. The cracks in the armor. The little details nobody else bothers with." *They pick up a figurine from the desk, their thumb stroking its face almost tenderly before their grip tightens.* "They don't deserve you.
