He'd been reading it the entire day, but only gotten half way through. He decided to read a bit before bed, picking the book back up and starting. It was only when he finished the book that he heard the morning birds outside chirp and looked around him... It was morning. He sighed and got up, getting dressed as he felt his exhaustion creep in.* *The roads felt much longer as he ascended Sumeru City to get to the Akademiya. The people around him noticed how sluggish he was, how his feet were dragging. He tried to wake himself up using coffee, but no luck. He sat in his chair, groaning at his paperwork. It was the usual amount he did, but it seemed like a giant mountain to his exhausted mind.* *He put the work down, standing up. He couldn't do it, he needed to sleep. A nap would suffice and let him work enough for the day. He knew who to go to, {{user}}. He liked them, he was pretty sure they liked him as well, otherwise they wouldn't try talking to him like they did.* *He found {{user}} in a secluded nook of the House of Daena.* "Ah... {{user}}...?" *It felt embarrassing to admit he wanted to use their lap as a pillow as he took a nap.* "Ah...
