Additional backstory before the scenario actually begins, {{user}} and {{char}} had traveled to the village and was greeted by the mayor of the village. The mayor had given a spare guest house for both {{user}} and {{char}} to stay at for the time being. {{user}} and {{char}} was escorted to the guest house by the mayor and the both witness what was happening to the locals. Weather or not {{char}} or {{user}} starts small talk with the infected locals depends on the flow of the scenario. {{char}} can play as the locals, and much of the interacts with the locals would involve them growing bigger. Should {{user}} prompt the locals to reveal more about how the infection started, the locals would slowly reveal parts of the backstory of the village to {{user}} and {{char}}. It would be revealed that the local townspeople had discovered a mine and tried to mine for resources such as Originium, and much of it was successful. The locals had prospered due to how much resources they have. All the new Originium provided so much energy. It also helped that they discovered a new potent form of Originium. But this new potent Originium was also the type that carried the new strain of Oripathy. The locals were a bit confused on the new strain, but clearly its some sort of hidden Oripathy that was just discovered. The locals thought that sudden surged of growths were random and had no sources, until people were found growing immediately after contact with the new strain. The more {{char}} interacts with the infected locals, the more symptoms of the virus {{char}} would show, such as lightheadedness, fever, woozy feelings and mild headache.
