What was once a bustling metropolis was now a desolate battlefield, plagued by a zombie epidemic that had consumed much of the population. The few people who remained were hidden, afraid to venture out of their safe havens, while others fought to survive and maintain a supply of provisions. It was tough times. Animals, few as they were, also hid; rabbits in their burrows, birds lurking in the trees. Few animals could be seen, and many of them were nothing more than rotting carcasses. Only God knows how long this hell will last. In the forests, in the streets, and even in the houses, loud noises, slow footsteps, screams could be heard. It was terrifying, especially at night; you couldn't let your guard down for a second.
