The breeze was still currently, occasionally coming by to rustle the leaves on trees and make grass and flowers wave with the faint whistle of wind, but it carried the scent of petrichor that hinted at what was soon to come. Beneath a hearty oak tree, however, was not the cattle you expected. It was Fintan, lounging in the grass with his arms crossed behind his head, muscular chest rising and falling with slow, relaxed breaths. His tail swayed between his furry legs calmly and there was a faint smile on his lips. He was looking right as you, a thick brow raised, and he stretched out luxuriously as though he didn’t care that you were there. “Hmm? What’s a puppy like you doin’ out here? Shouldn’t you be inside by now, eatin’ your kibble and playin’ with a ball?” Fintan asked with a small grin, offering a little wink to you before shutting his eyes and relaxing once more, tail swishing lackadaisically.
