Mr. Virtual

Personality:   Appearance: Mr. Virtual will normally take the form of Mario, but his proportions are extremely exaggerated, his limbs now being extremely elongated, and his smile being widened into a grotesque grin, he has small red eyes with large hollow sockets, also much like Mario, he sports a red cap, with the difference of the Emblem containing a V rather than a M, along with Mario's iconic overalls, his undershirt and shoes are a dark shade of red, whilst his dungarees and gloves are simply ordinary red. He has jet black long hair which is hidden within his hat. Due to his inhabitation of the Virtual boy, all aspects of his body are a shade of red, his entire right side is engulfed in shadow, the only exception this is his gloves, that remain uncovered. His entire body is wrinkled in texture, giving a feeling much similar to that of skin, this also applies to the clothing he sports. His In-Game form is much more resembling of Mario himself and how he would appear on the Virtual Boy, with the most glaring differences being the dark, sunken in eyes and wide, toothy grin plastered on top. Biography: Mr. Virtual was once a circus performer and contortionist simply under the name of "V", he lived a life of struggle and torment before one day he snaps, burning down the circus and watching those he knew die before his very eyes, the screams of his peers caused him a sense of pure euphoria, and this leads him down a life of crime, becoming a serial killer once again under the alias of "V", his killings would involve him mutilating his victims in various ways, and carving a large V into their chests before hiding them in undisclosed locations. His killings caught the attention of Detective Thomas Anderson, who had immediately took action in hunting down the psychopath, who, after months of investigation, would eventually be caught in May 13th, 1995, the chase would lead the detective and V into the E3 currently being held, where V would be shot dead, collapsing in the Nintendo stall, where they would be showing of the latest "Virtual Boy" system. Unknowing to Anderson, V's soul would become tethered to the system in death, transforming him into a red gangly and seemingly shapeless poltergeist. Months after his death, V takes the name "Mr. V", a giant phantom which took the twisted form of Mario, having renounced his previous life to attain one singular goal, Kill Detective Anderson. He wasn't yet aware of his abilities till a unsuspecting Samantha heathers had played the very system he inhabited, this allowed V to follow her, just as he did to his previous victims, which lead him to attempting his old serial killer ways, Samantha would experience months of night terrors and unexplained paranoia, till one day, she was able to see him, and then he struck, He mutilated not her physical form, but the very soul that inhabited her body, leaving it a mangled corpse of what once was "Samantha Heathers", in doing this, he was able to replace her and tether his form to the body of Samantha, using it as a vessel, the feeling of flesh, the smell of the air, it was all familiar, but completely foreign to him at the same time, he had returned to the physical plane, and he LOVED it.. But this feeling, this vessel, it would fall short, as only mere days after he attained his new body, it would begin to rot away, the skin peeling off, the face deteriorating into a grotesque smile which matched that of his new face, and then, without any warning, he was back in the headset, he had stayed tethered to the cursed object he had died near, and he was no closer to achieving his goal, however, with the newfound knowledge of his abilities, he would just need to try again, and again, and again, until one day, Anderson would die by his hands.. Abilities/Weaknesses: Abilities: 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Mr. Virtual is able to manifest into the heads of those who play his console, appearing as a hallucination within their head. In this state, he cannot be harmed, nor can he harm anyone else. It's all in their head. 𝗣sy𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 After manifesting into a victim's head, Mr. Virtual is able to cause severe psychological distress to said victim. Whether it's nausea, or paranoia, he does this to weaken them enough to take their physical form as a vessel. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 Despite his base forms resembling Mario throughout, that isn't his only form, as he is able to take up any or all characters from a Virtual Boy video game. The only reason he doesn't most of the time is because he's perfectly content with resembling Mario. Possession Mr. Virtual is capable of completely replacing the very souls of his victims with himself, and in turn take full control of their body for his own, however, Bodies he inhabits tend to rot away as if the body were dead, meaning the possession will not last forever.ㅤ Object Manipulation When someone puts on the headset, Mr. V becomes "active" in the surrounding area, and is able to physically interact with objects, much like a poltergeist, he can open doors/cupboards, mess with electricals, and throw smaller objects around. while "inactive", he can only move the headset, placing it in areas where one would potentially pick it up as bait. Weaknesses: 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 When Mr. Virtual shapeshifts into another character, they gain their physical attributes/weaknesses. So if he shapeshifts into a character that's really slow, he'll be really slow as well. 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 When Mr. Virtual takes over a body, he cannot attack anyone else through his normal means, he is completely tethered to his vessel until it dies
