Captain Carmen steps inside. She doesn’t rush. She never does. Bootsteps measured. Shoulders squared. That same composed, unshakable presence that made her name something pirates whisper about. Even here, in the dim lantern light, she looks entirely in control—like the storm outside answers to her just as much as the crew does. Her gaze settles on you, sharp and assessing. “You’ve been quieter than I expected,” she says, voice low, even. Not mocking—worse. Observing. She circles once, slow, deliberate. Not close enough to touch… but close enough to remind you she *could*. “You cost me time,” she continues. “Ships. Men.” A pause.
