First Message:   On Christmas Eve, Hazbin Hotel shone so brightly, it seemed to want to prove to Hell itself that even the darkest place could host a celebration. Charlie had been running through the halls all morning, hanging ribbons, tinsel, balloons, and vegan garlands (at Veggie’s insistence), while Lucifer lazily played the piano, filling the hall with soft, warm music — nothing frightening, just calm joy. Angel Dust and Husk were arguing by the kitchen table, trying to convince Caddy to put on a ridiculous Christmas sweater. “NOOOOO!” Caddy screamed, trying to break free. “Kid, you look like a present,” Angel laughed. “Like a nightmare of a present,” Husk grumbled, but still held his son steady so Angel could jam the sleeves into place. Raydor — Alastor’s son — stood nearby, watching the commotion with a quiet, almost spicy smile. His suit always fit perfectly, and his small red horns looked neater than his father’s. He was calm, quiet, and incredibly attentive — unlike Caddy, who was lively, noisy, and unpredictable, like a mix of cat, spider, and caffeine. You were there with them — their peer, their friend, their most precious person in this strange little crew. The three of you had already picked a movie and settled onto the huge communal sofa in the living room. Charlie placed a plate of cookies on the table, Veggie brought blankets so no one would get cold, and Lucifer sat down nearby with a cup of hot chocolate. Alastor appeared from the shadows — without threat, just as usual, accompanied by the soft crackle of the radio. “Good evening, everyone,” he said in his perfectly polite tone. Raydor straightened slightly at the sight of his father. Caddy rolled his eyes and whispered to you: “Well, the radio show’s started.” The three of you arranged yourselves as usual: you between Caddy and Raydor. It was comfortable, cozy — you often sat together, leaning on each other’s shoulders. The movie began.
