Personality:   "PCX is two other worldly entities merged into one. They have taken the form of the Blue Blur, and use their abilities to lure unsuspecting victims to their demise. PCX is able to traverse to any games that include the Blue Blur in them at will, and can manipulate the game in any way they see fit. The reasons PCX does this is unknown, but it doesn't seem like it's twisted games will end anytime soon. Avoid any Blue Blur related media, and don't open any unnamed boxes that aren't meant for you..." APPEARANCE ------------------------------- PCX is an almost-identical copy of the original Sonic the Hedgehog with his iconic white gloves, blue fur, tan chest and arms. However, PCX sports a menacing grin filled with crooked, yellow teeth, as well as orange glowing pupils instead of regular eyes, with the visible flesh of his sockets in the corners of his eyes. Streaks of blood creep from his eyes, some of which splattering onto his chest, similar to tears. In addition, he has blood present on his fingers. He also has slight whiskers. His cuffs and socks are black, and instead of the usual red, PCX's shoes are yellow. He also wears inhibitor rings on his gloves and shoes similarly to Shadow. TRIVIA ------------------------------- - PCX has 35 Stamina, 28 Sprint Speed, and deals 20 DMG per hit, making him tied with Niloticus on being the fastest monsters in the game. While PCX has low damage and stamina, his speed and abilities make up for it by allowing him to essentially never end a chase. His abilities are Found You, You Can't Run and Jump. - PCX was originally named Sonic.EXE in game but was changed due to the developers wanting to avoid any issues with Sega. - Multiple names were considered for PCX, being PC2.X, PC.X, X, Pillar-X and PC2X. When he was called Sonic.EXE, he was originally going to look exactly like his in-game appearance with red-dotted eyes, blood on his gloves, a bloody chest, and red shoes. However, BladeNinja wanted to make a more original variant. - You Can't Run, his second ability, is named after the second stage from the original creepypasta/game. - Likewise, the name of Found You, his first ability, is a reference to Sonic.EXE's quote when he first encounters Knuckles in the aforementioned level. - Contrary to popular belief, PCX is an original character designed for Pillar Chase 2 and does not come from any previous Sonic.EXE variants. - At 1666 coins, PCX is currently the most expensive monster in the game, beating the previous record-holders MX, and The Forest King. - Before the Black Friday 2024 event, MX and The Forest King were the most expensive monsters, costing 1985 coins. PCX’s tendency to laugh after hitting someone was most likely incorporated because he is known to play with his victims and loves to see them suffer before he inevitably kills them. - PCX holds the record for the most amount of reworks, having a grand total of 9 reworks including ones that were only in testing. - PCX's intro animation is currently the longest in the game, at about 8 seconds. - PCX's kill animation is a reference to how X kills Dave (Knuckles) in the Sonic.EXE remake. - PCX's second ability "Final Act" was initially scrapped but was eventually brought back after some time. This was likely due to Blade not coming up with a replacement for it. - PCX and Uncle Samsonite are currently the only two monsters in the game to have the ability to send players to another area outside of the map. - PCX is one of 2 monsters that was released during an event, the other one being Inkfell. - PCX is the first monster to have his price revealed before release. - PCX's death quote for dying to "Found You" is most likely a reference to Obituary from Sonic Legacy. - PCX is the monster with the most amount of renders. - PCX is the third Monster to feature the player using it his intro. (technically the fourth if you count Zombie). - The first monster to do this is Ao Oni. The second monster to do this is Vita Mimic. - He is also the fourth monster to have more than 2 abilities. The first monster to do this is Uncle Samsonite, the second monster is Inkfell, and the third monster is Springtrap (his rework was conceptualized prior to PCX's) as of the Christmas 2024 event. - PCX used to be the monster with the most Death Quotes, with a total of 6. He is now tied with Springtrap, with both standing at 4 Death Quotes in-game. - PCX currently holds the record for the most chase themes in-game, standing at 7. In addition, if you count his scrapped and outdated chase themes, as well as the music used for My World, PCX’s overall track count grows even larger, reaching a whopping 14. - PCX is the only monster who doesn't regenerate stamina slowly while killing a survivor with a M1 attack, instead, he gains it back instantly. - None of PCX's skins are available in the Robux shop due to copyright restrictions. Despite this, PCX's Decay skin is the only one of his that is available in the Robux shop. - While technically just for a skin, PCX is currently the only monster to reuse a chase theme from a separate monster, specifically, their 2017x skin uses EXE's 2017x skin's chase theme, but it has been confirmed to be a placeholder. Originally Fuwatti shared this trait, reusing Ao Oni's chase theme before its own got implemented. - PCX has the most ancient skins in-game, totaling to 4. - PCX's chase theme uses the same drowning motif as EXE's oldest low health chase theme. - The melody used in PCX's intro animation is Hill.gym, typically used in the last stage of typical .EXE games. - The ancient skins change this melody, Thorn’s melody is My Sweet Passion, Amy’s theme from Sonic Adventure 1, 2011x’s melody is GO BACK, the theme of Alan's secret stage, and 2017x's melody is Mephiles's theme, the theme of Mephiles, the overarching antagonist of Sonic 06, the game 2017x is most associated with. - PCX currently holds the record for most voice acted skins (excluding default) at 4. - PCX has a notorious history of balance changes, totaling to around 300 or possibly more. - PCX's original release date was scheduled to be December 20th, 2024, which was conveniently the same time the Sonic 3 movie released. - If you listen very closely, you can hear the reversed version of Hill.GYM (Tail’s stage in the original Sonic.EXE) in the idle. This makes PCX the currently only monster to have music in one of their sounds (not counting their chase theme). For some reason he doesn’t have this sound in his Thorn skin. Also, his Decay skin has the American version of the Sonic CD game over in the kill sound. - DylanZeMuffin happens to be the official voice actor for 2011x. He and Printzo both voice PCX, so this implies an alternate universe where 2011x and another soul inhabit the PCX vessel. - The names of both of PCX's vessels/souls are Dylan and Printzo, named after his voice actors. (semi-official fact, mutually agreed upon by both voice actors, no comment by Blade.) - To add to this, his Decay skin is a demonstration of what would happen if one of these souls, as Rosemary would say, "left the vessel", showing clear signs of decomposition and decay. To add to the gimmick of the skin, only one of PCX's voice actors (Printzo) provides voice lines compared to the usual two.
